Incredibile experience on the South Rim, literally steps away. Truly magical - great beds and linens. The bathroom is a little short on counter space but a miniscule sacrifice to have the location. We were fortunate to have a first floor room because I had sprained my ankle two days before, but even so the first level has step ups at different sections, so if you need ADA accommodations, be sure to specify at booking and call to confirm a day or two prior to arrival.

Being able to stay in the Canyon was absolutely amazing. It states it in the description, but check in is at the Bright Angel Lodge which is down the one way street from Thunderbird. If you can park closer to Thunderbird and walk to check in, that may be easier. If you arrive in the early evening, there will likely be

We had a partial canyon view room on the South Rim and it was beautiful to wake up every morning and see the canyon.

Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Einziger Minuspunkt (meckern auf hohem Niveau), die Klimaanlage hat etwas muffig (feucht) gerochen. Sonst war alles super.

Our room was clean and bed was amazingly comfortable. Being so close to the south rim of the Grand Canyon was awesome! Glass coffee mugs and glass water glasses was a great touch!

Room was clean and quiet. Excellent location with amazing views. We just walked 50 feet outside the hotel and we were on the trail of the south rim. So glad we stayed here. We definitely recommend this hotel.
