Our anniversary trip to Under Canvas was an experience we’ll never forget. Waking up to the incredible scenery each morning and ending our days under the stars created memories we’ll cherish for years to come. The setting was absolutely breathtaking—glamping at its finest. We loved being immersed in nature without sacrificing comfort. The food was delicious, and every meal felt like part of the celebration. What stood out most was the thoughtful staff. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcomed and helped make our anniversary extra special. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories. We can’t wait to return someday and relive the magic all over again.

We had a wonderful stay at Under Canvas Mount Rushmore. The setting, the atmosphere, and the way the property blends comfort with the Black Hills made it a great experience for our family. The UnderCanvas Team deserves a lot of credit — everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The tent setup and amenities were next level, and the overall environment was exactly what we hoped for. It’s a great base camp for families to visit the surrounding areas.

From check in to check out, our stay was 5 stars. Curtis who welcomed us was very welcoming as were all staff. Our tent was clean, equipped with all we needed and had gorgeous views all around. We had a clear view of Mt. Rushmore on our porch. The meals we had from their onsite restaurant were very good. We enjoyed our total glamping experience here. Highly recommend!

Under Canvas was absolutely stunning. We loved everything about our stay — the peaceful nature setting, the beautiful views of Mount Rushmore, and the overall atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the food was great. It felt special, relaxing, and memorable. Highly recommend!

The tent concept is very unique & our two grandsons & us really enjoyed the experience. The tent was clean & everything worked as it should, the staff was very friendly & helpful. Beautiful location & the view of Mt. Rushmore from the deck is awesome.

Highly recommend staying at the Mount Rushmore location - very convenient for Mount Rushmore (less than 10 minutes away) The staff were amazing and the food was outstanding- can’t wait to stay at another under canvass property soon!

I need to first start out by saying the staff are absolutely amazing. There were some staff that had only been there for a few days, and they were so polite and accommodating. The tents were really well maintained, the bed was super comfy and the ability to see the stars at night was the absolute best!! I can't say enough about this place and how fantastic it was. From the staff, to the food, to the accommodations... we made memories to last a lifetime thanks to this place!!

My stay was wonderful. My tent was great, very comfortable and the views from the deck were perfect for morning coffee and afternoon relaxing. It was cold and rainy one day so I used the wood burning stove which made it extra cozy! I ate my breakfasts and dinners at the on site restaurant. The food was delicious. Nice wine selection too. And fresh coffee starting very early in the morning and throughout the day is great. Finally you can see Mount Rushmore from the communal deck so you almost don’t need to go if you want to avoid the crowds and Just relax at this beautiful quiet location.
