Easy walk to beach and walking trail to shops

Easy check in and so close to the beach! Loved it here! Not much ingredients though for cooking, it was more like a hotel with a completely bare kitchen with only cooking supplies and utensils. Didn’t even have kcups for the keurig. I would totally stay here again though!

The pool was very warm, like bathwater. The long term residents were very friendly and helpful. They have built a community with repeat renters that come every year.

This was a true gem of a quaint style hotel. The manager was fabulous in answering any questions that we had & she communicated very clearly the check in processThe room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Those are high priorities for me. Having a warm pool here was the icing on the cake.

Older facility but super clean, friendly folks, amazing housekeeping touches like the way the towels were tightly and neatly wrapped and fun designs on toilet paper roll. The bedding was also inviting and so comfortable. Great sheets!

I highly recommend Waves on Desoto. The room was clean and was stocked with just about everything you’d need during your stay. I especially appreciated the beach chairs and the use of the onsite bicycles. The heated pool was nice, as well. The check in process was easy. The beach is just a short walk away. The property manager, Vicki, was especially helpful. She checked with me during my stay to make sure everything was going well. I had a great stay & hope to return again!

Room was awesome! Location was amazing! The amenities were awesome, they had beach chairs, umbrella & even a small cooler you can use while you are there. The walk to the private beach was short and easy. Absolutely loved it and I would stay here again.

Clean quiet and less than a 5 minute walk to beautiful Hollywood beach. We watched the sunrise from the beach. Walked less than a 1/4 mile back to the room. The staff is exceptionally communicative and friendly. Loved this place we will be back I. A few weeks.

Vickie responded to questions within minutes - one of the most responsive property managers I have dealt with. The small apartment/kitchen was just what we were looking for. We ate breakfast in and lunch and dinner out. Tiki Tiki was our favorite restaurant. The pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature even during the cold snap. Pool toys were provided for kids. The beach is less than 1 block away and beach chairs and umbrella were provided. The price was right. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and met wonderful people in our little apartment complex! Thank you for a relaxing after holiday break!
