The accommodation was great. The location is convenient for easy access to the attractions in D1. Convenience store just downstairs and local market nearby with only 5 minutes walk. I really like tropical fruit and Vietnamese food.I will choose again to stay here

The room was clean and tidy it had all amenities you would expect for a self-contained apartment, we used both the gym and the pool which were of a good standard and not too busy, decent location only a few minutes taxi ride to markets 10 minutes to opera house Defiantly recommend.

The good: Location- you have everything downstairs, a mini supermarket, two convenience stores and even a pharmacy. The building is also a short 15 minute drive to D1. Safety- Security guards were friendly and you need a keycard for a specific floor so there is that added layer of safety.

Appartement très salle surtout la sdb avec pleine de moisissures.. literie, draps et couverture sale aussi. Cuisine sale aussi et manque cuillères, verres, tasse à thé... canapé horrible avec des ressorts qui ressortent ! Les chambres sont petites. l'emplacement est bien situé, pas loin du centre de Saïgon.. nous avions demandé un changement de chambre mais aucun signe... Séjour horrible dans cet appartement. Nous le déconseille fortement !

Terrible check in where they refused to accept booking and told us Hotels.com "were a fraud site", tried to get us to go somewhere else etc since name at place is Rivergate apartments and not The Grand Saigon, even if adress is the same. Have used Hotels.com for over 10 yrs and never had problems like this. Staff at front desk did not speak English very well, were young girls and unmature. They were rude, unprofessional and spoke about us to others living in the building, and the others then tried to get us to go to slum area saying "they had to move us because of electricity problems". Near slum and lots of rats outside late evening. Worn room, stained furniture with gecko and mold. Cockroaches in the garbage room and zero cleaning except a rather bad one before we got the room. Got 2 towels each for several days and not equipped with soap. One (1) drinking cup in whole apt. Cutlery had food from other guest at it. We read the reviews before came, and thought it cannot be that bad, but it was worse. Don't expect any service from front desk. They answered: "call the owner" every time. Only great things were the shops at first floor, and security staff outside who were friendly.

I was very disappointed with this condo stay. The beddings was so filthy, I got itches and rashes and bedbug bites from the sheets and comforter, not to mention the mattress is very uncomfortable. There was some weird cranking noise occurred in the middle of the night multiple times which interrupted our sleep on top of the highway non stop honking. The bathroom is extremely disgusting tainted with stains, mildews and mold throughout. The drain is also clogged so when you’re taking a shower, you would be standing on knee high deep puddle. The furnitures in the living room are also broken and look dilapidated, we also have ants crawling all over the couch and table. Check in process was tougher than getting U.S green card. The host made us wait almost an hour in front of the apartment before showing up. Overall, my stay was extremely annoying and unpleasant. Please do yourself a favor!
