Excellent new hotel (opened july 2017). 5 minutes from Algers' super modern subway. Great view over the Mediterranean sea and the hills. Excellent knowledge of English among reception staff, very friendly, insightful and helpful management (Mr Halim Louail). Buffet restaurant, but lighter meals is possible.

Noua avons séjourné à Alger pendant une semaine ou on a logé à l'Hôtel New Day et ce en provenance de Paris. Mon appréciation et évaluation sur ce séjour est excellente aussi bien envers le personnel très aux chevets des clients que la direction. Hôtel très confortable ,très propre; très sécurisé ; il y'a rien a envier à des hôtels de luxe que je loue habituellement en France dans le cadre de mes déplacements professionnels. Tout en remerciant le personnel, je vous le recommande vivement pour le confort de chambre; ses services de qualités; ainsi que sa proximité d'une bouche de métro.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cet hôtel et étions satisfaits de notre chambre. Une station de métro se trouve à quelques minutes de l'hôtel, très pratique pour aller au centre-ville. Le personnel de la réception a encore beaucoup à apprendre....Le buffet du soir est bien garni, nous avons relativement bien mangé pour le prix de 3500 dinars. Par malchance, lors de notre séjour, il y avait plein d'équipes sportives (tennis, foot, natation) qui logeaient à l'hôtel ce qui était quelque peu encombrant et bruyant.

malgré un hôtel plein et mon heure tardive d'arrivée , l'hôtel m'avait réservé une chambre à l'hôtel voisin " l'Oasis ". Les commentaires pour la chambre concernent donc la chambre de l'Oasis . C'est une suite qui m'a été donnée très spacieuse et agréable mais il est dommage que le système de chasse d'eau des WC ne fonctionnait pas .

Propreté déplorable : moquette sale , draps sales, douche/toilette sales, serviettes de toilette jaunies; Restaurant : petit déjeuner avec omelette froide , pas d'eau chaude pour un thé Au 13 ème étage, un restaurant mais ne lisez pas la carte, rien n'est disponible! Au premier étage, un buffet : les tables pas débarrassées ni nettoyées, pas de couvert. Eau chaude dans la salle de bain : attendre une bonne dizaine de minutes pour en avoir. Sans compter le débit d'eau de la douche (très très faible). Les draps n'avaient de toute évidence pas été nettoyés. Je m'arrête là mais la liste est longue. En bref, c'est hôtel est une CATASTROPHE

I am an American. I was in Algiers for one day for a meeting at the US Embassy. My flight was the following day. My husband and I were only staying one day. Upon arrival, I was allowed to check on early, which was perfect so I could drop my luggage in the room before my meeting. When I returned from my meeting I proceeded to the room changed clothes and headed to the pool. I was approached and ask to supply my marriage license. Obviously, I didn’t have it and it was in the USA. I booked my room with Travelocity. There wasn’t any mention of needing this document. The staff was not very friendly about the situation. I was informed that I needed the document to stay there and that illegal relationships weren’t accepted. (WHAT!?) I felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation. I was very upset with New Day AND Travelocity. I left the hotel and made arrangements to stay somewhere else. when I requested a refund since I wouldn’t be staying the hotel’s reply was....oh there is no problem. You can stay after we were treated like criminals. They refused to refund my money thought I had no idea about their marriage license policy. we do not carry around our marriage licenses in America and you don’t need to supply it to go on vacation or reserve accommodations. I chose this hotel because they boosted of multilingual staff. I thought maybe they had experience with international visitors, but the hotel staff weren’t very understanding of our cultural differences.
