Gran Hotel Fontainebleau is a 15-minute drive from Bueno aires. Our family-run, family-run hotel has 65 rooms, including a wonderful suite. A la carte dinners were incredibly tasty, varied, and beautifully presented in the evening. The service was excellent and flawless. The general manager was wonderful, engaging, funny, humorous, and capable of perfect English, Spanish, Italian, and, to our surprise, even a bit of Finnish. The employees were extremely kind and helpful, providing extra information on everything we needed. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful beach, which was always spotless, and we took long walks along the beachfront, which was always tidy and wide. Breakfast included freshly prepared medialunas, all kinds of bread, pastries prepared on site, and numerous fruits such as succulent melons, peaches, pears, grapes, and plums. By the pool, there was a lunch restaurant that served pizzas, empanadas, salads, and sandwiches. We had a la carte dinners in the evening, which were delicious, diverse, and exquisitely presented. The service was outstanding and impeccable. We also had a lovely spa and soothing treatments. Even the personnel members were fluent in English. The place was fantastic and had a great cable to connect to. The location is ideal for couples looking to get away from Buenos aires for a few days. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and equipped with WiFi and a balcony with a view of the sea. The main strip with numerous eateries, cafes, and stores is just one street away from the hotel. Moreover, the cable was excellent. In the morning, I was able to enjoy a delicious breakfast before returning to Buenos aires. If you need a taxi, just let the front desk know, and they will call you.
