It's a wonderful hotel that feels like a home away from home. The couple that run the hotel are lovely, very friendly, and extremely helpful. I had a good experience, despite the fact that I don't speak Spanish at all. Breakfast is simple but filling. WiFi is free, but the connectivity on laptops in the rooms is not very reliable. Wifi for phones and tablets is fine. But if you don't need to be online all day on a laptop, this is definitely a great place to stay while in San Rafael. The location is great, it's close to the city center but in a quiet path.

We stayed here on two different occasions the first time was perfect. Great staff, clean room, good wifi, hot shower, and good coffee. I was in another room on my second visit and there was around 2 minutes of hot water per morning and the wifi didn't work at all in the room. All in all it's a nice place to stay. Quiet and close to everything. Just think some of the rooms need some upkeep

Hotel Francis was so lovely. They provide a good location, excellent services, and a homey atmosphere, thanks to the owners' assistance. The proprietors are always happy to help their visitors. Also, in the very roomy, spacious room, there is a list of food delivery services, such as pizza and empanadas, which is a fantastic idea because you might return late and worn out from the tours. You can also use their kitchen and barbecue. We all had a blast! Hopefully, we'll be back soon!.
