It's a homestay in the true sense of the word. The caretaker goes the extra mile and is great IT support. rooms and bathrooms are excellent. The back garden area is lovely to spend time in. Laundry and Kitchen is just like home. If you need something and can't find it, all you have to do is ask.

Charles Mansion is a warm happy place with nice people surrounding you. I've recommended to upper flat rooms to stay in. First flat roomies is so small, but if you're experienced with backpackers hotels, you can stay there easily. Nice and common kitchen also very attractive every evening with a full of different tastes.

Great no frills low cost hostel style accomodation in a nice secure location. Interactions with the other guests were pleasant. No issues with noise or shared amenities at all. Would stay again

Good looking home to stay in, although I was a bit disappointed that I had been “upgraded” from a capsule to a somewhat smaller room. I was looking forward to staying in a capsule. I met a couple of other people but other than that, the home was quiet and clean. I was able to prepare my own breakfast in the downstairs kitchen. For dinner, I had a great choice of nearby restaurants. Rates very reasonable. I would stay at the Mansion again.

Basically clean and a bed for the night, with the facilities to make yourself a cuppa etc. the room I had was basically clean, but a bit cold in temperature and atmosphere - maybe a rug on the floor or the concrete wall- make sure you get instructions on how to get in ahead of time, cause getting a response at the time - well, I haven't had one yet.
