This hostel is perfect for travellers doing a guided outback tour. You can leave your big luggage there for free and they offer super early breakfast, because the tour operators pick you up early morning usually.

I’ve graded this hostel as a hostel, not a hotel. MIT had everything required for Backpackers plus a lovely atmosphere...if I was back in Alice Springs, I would definitively tell stay there again.

I was only here for a few days. Even though they have shortened the office hours, selfcheckin was very efficient and simple and the owner was on the phone and arrived within minutes when I had more queries. Good air conditioning, clean rooms, and a lovely landscape decorated with lights and garden ornaments. Lots of friendly people to talk to and a cool pool to jump into when the temperature hits 40 degrees. Glad I found this hostel and will definitely be back next year.

I was disappointed while staying here. I stayed here to make a good impression while staying here. The location is very strategic. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. I also got free breakfast in the morning. The pool was nice but we didn't use it. Overall, nothing bad about the place, but it has nothing special.

Totally worth the price. I stayed there for 4 nights with a 3 day trip in between. I was greeted by a very friendly staff and offered to let me borrow a fly net for my lure tour which was a lifesaver. A simple 6-bed mixed dorm with everything you need. Comfortable beds and spotless sheets were ideal. The water in the faucets is quite warm, but the rooms have a mini fridge to cool it down. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook delicious food and the toilet showers were fantastic. I really enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks they have there. The atmosphere was very relaxed and quiet, but there were plenty of social areas where you could chat with other backpackers as well. Overall very friendly staff, great vibe and all for a reasonable price.

I came here for my bicycle accident and wanted to stay at Alice for the night because it was so wet and sweltering. When I arrived, Sophia very friendly and made me feel very welcome. It was a thermal top that I had lost, so as a result, it was so windy. Sophia offered me her clothing, but she refused to accept it as an underarmour garment. What fantastic customer service. I appreciate you very much, Alice Lodge travelers, you deserve a medal.

This is a place that has a very clean and accessible facility. Although our group was big enough for us to only remain in the room, the room had lockers and small refrigerators. Our accommodations were always accessible without having to wait, and we slept soundly at night. It was simple to enter and exit due to the car, though it occasionally appeared to work. The check-in after hours procedure worked flawlessly when we phoned, and the woman was very friendly and helpful. Payment was straightforward.

All will be perfect only if the receptionist make my airport shuttle booking right. I was forced to call a cab, (thankful I found a neighbor that helped me for one) as the receptionist didn't follow thru my booking even I double confirm my pick up date & time during check in. I forced to pay AUD44 instead of AUD14.50 to get myself on time for my flights.

The location and security are OK. The room is clean and the bed is confortable. The kitchen is a kind of messy. The T towels are terrible. The shower rooms are not so confortable. Check in time is limited and inconvenient.
