The room was smallish but value for money- clean, quiet and the shower I could have stayed under all day!! We didn't see a staff member as arrived late and out the door reasonably early. But Gordon gave an excellent check in procedure and no problems at all. Parking at rear was good. Proximity to CBD a bonus.

The Art Hotel surprised us. It worked out well for our trip. It was next to the Catholic church, which was important for the lenten season and it surprised us. It was on a busy street, but very walkable, markets, the gorge, restaurants and downtown. It has a short check-in time which surprised us too. There was a call number to get the key for our room. We had minimal interactions with the staff.

Charming boutique hotel, with friendly reception, very well located, with a short walk to either the city centre or walking trails. As to be expected, a little dated but well maintained and clean, with lovely artwork. Guest laundry and included onsite parking a bonus.

Property is very clean, well run and conveniently located - very close to Cataract Gorge. A washer dryer is available for a reasonable fee. Restaurants and stores nearby. DON’T MISS: Sunday market in Evandale - a cute town only 30 minutes away by public bus (check the schedule), even shorter by car. Also, have breakfast or brunch at “Earthly Eats” on Kingsway, 8 min walk from hotel, great menu + food!

Wondeful old buildings with a lot of personality. Room was not a large one, but just fine for a short stay and whole place just felt better than standard motels. Arrived late and left early so did not see the hosts but all was as promised. Highly recommended.

Our room was very comfortable, check-in was a breeze and the vibe of the hotel was chill. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and the Cataract Gorge walking trails.
