Our time at this place was wonderful, and the hosts were pleasant and accommodating. The two-bedroom cottage accommodations are outdated, need renovation and design, and need some modernization. The bathrooms are roomy with adequate hanging spots, and the beds are cozy. Although tidy, it is still relatively clean. The kitchen has plenty of storage space. You would anticipate in the Hunter Valley to have secluded gardens and views from the back porch. Cessnock, a number of wineries, eateries, and other attractions, are just 2 hours from Sydney, and just a 15-minute drive away, which is close to the hunter expressway. Expect more luxury and modern amenities given the price.

This place was fantastic. We had a weekend visit with 2 families. Great location, equipped with all the kitchen facilities, nice beds, and neat cleanliness. The room in the apartment was big enough for our family of 4 people and 3 children. The kids had a great time riding bikes down the small grassy hill and watching kangaroos.

We chose the lodge and the cottage for 14, because we had enough room and the cottage was only used for sleeping. There is a pool and tennis court. There was also a pool table in the cottage and some rooms had air conditioning. Great location for a large family. Would definitely recommend to anyone, there are four homes on site. Call and I will look after you well.

This is our second visit to Bluefish Estate and we will be back. This time we stayed in the shed. We have stayed at Bluefish Estate several times before, all in different accommodations. We really like this place. The setting, location, accommodation and hosts were amazing.

We just enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Bluebushes. We stayed in the main house, which was perfect because each of the 5 couples had their own bedroom ensure. There are many living spaces to choose from. The open fire was perfect for cooling off on chilly nights. Kitchen facilities were excellent, a bbd was also a welcome addition. The beds were very comfortable, the booking process was efficient. Linda even helped organise delicious dinner for us! We will definitely return!.
