After staying here for six months, i have just left city backpackers. There were a few things that we felt needed to be addressed, despite the fact that our time in Brisbane was fantastic. The hostel has a fantastic social aspect. Its a great way to meet people in the communal areas because they dont have a bar right now. These areas are very roomy, and there are always people to chat with. It became a family after staying in the hostel for so long. Some of the receptionists went above and beyond for us. I want to express my gratitude to kody, grace, and celia they are all lovely, and it was always a pleasure to speak with them. The hostel has a lot of longterm residents, and under previous management, we felt very valued. While we were there, management changed. We were able to block book our rooms and pay for them weekly. This was no longer the case after the management changed, so we were constantly worried about whether we could extend our rooms. There were frequently broken appliances, hot water taps, toasters, and microwaves when i inquired about where they were and would try to fix it but i was unsure of how long they had been off and not telling any guests that they werent working. This was kind of infuriating for us. One day, after returning from work, i discovered that my belongings were missing from the room 34. The kitchen is a good size, and its probably one of the biggest hostel kitchens ive ever used. When i inquired about where they were, i was informed that they hadnt received a note about it. I later discovered that the boxes had been thrown away in the storage area of the parking lot, not neatly placed, but thrown away. Im not sure why these were thrown, and there was no note left for reception regarding this. This was also infuriating. Overall, we had a great time at this hostel, but that was solely down to the people who stayed there and a few staff members. We understand that changing management will cause some toothpicks, but at minimum, you would anticipate working appliances, soap, and paper towels. Some of the receptionists are excellent, but i believe management needs to improve its game when it comes to longterm

Kebersihan kamar mandi dan dapur harus ditingkatkan. Agar masyarakat tidak menaruh sepatu yang bau di lorong. Selebihnya tidak apa-apa! Mereka memiliki fasilitas area umum yang sangat bagus, dapur besar, dan kamar mandi besar. Harganya sangat tinggi untuk keuntungan biaya.

The hostel exceeded my expectations, and i will definitely return! The common areas were impressive, featuring a terrace with breathtaking views, hammocks, and a movie room. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and my dorm was exceptionally spacious, clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bathrooms were consistently impeccably clean, and the hostel boasted a prime location right next to Roma street station. I highly recommend this hostel.

Asrama terbaik yang pernah saya lihat. Kami menghabiskan 5 hari di wisma ini, kamar pribadi, saya dan pacar saya. Kamar cukup besar untuk menyimpan semua koper kami. Dapur besar dengan banyak kompor dan peralatan memasak. 3 Kali sehari ada orang yang membersihkan dapur, kamar mandi, dan area umum. Penerimaan tersedia untuk semua orang. Teras besar dan terawat, serta ada kolam renang. Tentunya sebagai hostel Anda tidak bisa mengharapkan kedamaian di malam hari karena selalu ada orang minum sampai larut dan mendengarkan musik. Tapi secara keseluruhan itu sangat menyenangkan. Pemandangan Brisbane luar biasa. Disarankan.

Ketika saya tiba, saya ditempatkan di sebuah asrama di dekat teras, di mana ada pesta selama saya tinggal. Saya tidak sulit tidur dengan kebisingan, tetapi ini rumit. Selain itu, gadis-gadis di asrama tidak sopan dan menghabiskan malam mereka membanting pintu yang dibuka dengan benda-benda (yang juga menjelaskan isolasi suara yang buruk). Ketika saya memasuki asrama, saya menemukan MESS yang mengerikan, gadis-gadis itu tinggal di asrama selama beberapa bulan dan mereka mengambil alih tempat itu. Asrama dalam keadaan menyedihkan, kotor, kantong sampah besar menumpuk di sudut, semua barang berada di mana-mana, bahkan di kamar mandi. Mereka juga mendekorasi seluruh asrama sesuai dengan poster dan foto. Jelas saya merasa seperti di rumah. Saya tidak punya ruang di bawah tempat tidur untuk menyimpan ransel dan tidak ada lemari. Akhirnya terjadi kemacetan di dalam kamar, teman-teman gadis yang tinggal di sana jelas diterima. Singkatnya ini adalah pengalaman yang luar biasa ketika Anda membayar harga ini untuk sebuah asrama Anda tidak berharap Anda berada di tengah perkemahan.

I highly recommend this place if you are traveling on a tight budget and need a place to stay in brisbane. I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and i felt very safe.

Saya baru-baru ini tinggal di City Backpackers HQ di Brisbane dan berbagi pengalaman positif saya. Kolam renang hostel adalah hal yang menarik selama saya menginap. Ini adalah oasis sejati di jantung kota, memberikan istirahat yang menyegarkan setelah seharian menjelajahi Brisbane. Bersih, terawat dan dikelilingi oleh suasana yang menyenangkan, kolam renang benar-benar menambah sentuhan istimewa selama saya menginap. There is a wide variety of rooms available! Queen street mall is a short walk away, and it is very close to roma street station, giving you quick access to various areas of the city. The pool is perfect for unwinding, and the views from the viewing tower are breathtaking! Additionally, the common areas were neat and clean.

I cannot recommend this hostel highly enough. The view of the city and river was breathtaking. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were thoroughly cleaned every day. The kitchen was large and efficient and the staff were extremely helpful, they still send us our messages even after we leave.

I arrived in february 2022 and had a lot of trouble finding a place to live, but during that time city backpackers always showed me their support by writing good references about me and my boyfriend so that we could find a place to live. My room was very clean and comfortable, the cleaning staff cleaned the room every day, i stayed in a private room and had my own fridge and bathroom. If you want to meet people, it is a great place to do so as the hostel has a pool and a very cool area to drink some beers and stay there in the afternoon with a very nice view of the city. Also, the location is great. I left with a great image, i know you will also have a good experience there.

In this hostel, i had a private room. The majority of necessities are provided a towel, a shared kitchen with lots of shelves and fridge space, stoves, kettles, and hot water dispensers. Bring your own shampoo / conditioner, etc. Free wifi is available in public areas and, if lucky, in certain rooms. Air conditioning disadvantages the sheets appeared mostly clean, but there were a few minor stains. Unfortunately, it was noisy all night long. The shared bathroom is mixed. Note that it is conveniently located 5-10 minutes from rome station, but do not get off at central station, as application suggests. Overall, decent value in comparison to nearby hostels / hotels.

Without a doubt, the best hostel ive ever been to. For me, sandy and rebeka made this a home away from home, and i am aware that this is also true for the majority of the people who were present during my stay. This is the spot for you if you want to be truly taken care of and supported by people who genuinely care. Excellent place, even better people. Will always hold a special place in my heart. The rooftop view of the city skyline of brigade is breathtakingly worth the trip alone. Oh, and having a pool overlooking the city skyline isnt too awful either.

Asrama ini lebih seperti asrama pesta. Sayangnya, dapurnya sangat berantakan. Tidak ada yang mencuci piring dan yang paling memalukan adalah seseorang mengeluarkan makanan kami dari lemari es agar hangat. Kami mencarinya sangat lama sampai kami menemukan piring kami. Awalnya ada 4, tapi akhirnya hanya tersisa 3 dan saya takut ada yang memperhatikan bahwa kami sedang mencari piring-piring ini. Jadi ketika saya berbalik untuk kedua kalinya, kebetulan mereka berada tepat di sebelah saya. Satu-satunya nilai plus adalah pemandangannya.

Pertama-tama, ini adalah bopper terbaik! Resepsionisnya bukan di depan pintu otomatis seperti pintu masuk yang ditandai, melainkan di ujung kunci otomatis di ujung lorong sebelah kiri. Meja resepsionis sangat sibuk dan waktu tunggunya lama. Kali ini saya menginap di kamar pribadi yang bersih dan nyaman. Saya kira AC-nya tidak bisa diatur. Agak dingin, tapi saya bisa tidur seperti biasa setelah menutupi diri dengan futon. Tidak ada sampo di kamar mandi, jadi Anda harus membawanya sendiri. Ada juga sekitar 5 toilet di seberang 5 kamar mandi. Hati-hati karena beberapa toilet tidak memiliki kertas! Kami menonton film dan bermain biliar di bagian dalam terbuka, dan di luar kami menikmati makan malam dengan bir dan nasi di konter tempat kami bisa bermain tenis meja atau menonton pemandangan malam tempat tidur gantung. Ada kolam tapi dingin jadi tidak ada yang menggunakannya. Bagaimanapun, tempat ini populer dan ramai dengan orang di luar, dan itu adalah tempat yang bagus untuk bersantai di dalam. Saya pasti ingin kembali ketika saya datang ke Brisbane!

The hostel isnt perfect, but its the best hostel ive ever been to. There is a large commercial kitchen. However, it needs more fridge space and a new set of utensils. Attention is not paid to the details. Small things like a pool table with cues that cant be used. It has a great view of Brisbane. Unfortunately, development is now underway and will probably change that.

Recommended, i would return. Throughout my entire stay here, the staff was extremely courteous and communicative to any concerns i had, without making any hasty, wrong, or judgmental assumptions. Additionally, if i spoke with them about any sensitive, particular, or unique issues. It was wonderful to meet other travelers and hear their stories of being scared to begin their first journey, but meeting good people along the way at hostels like this is clearly what makes the whole thing worthwhile.

The dorm was 5 beds and 3 guests were long-term slayers. They unpacked their whole bag contents, even with books displayed on the shelving and used all the plug sockets for their appliances. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner in the room worked well, but there was a pair of filthy socks stuffed down the side of one of the clean beds that had been put out for our use. The bathrooms were clean and fit for purpose. The kitchen was the same as any other hostel weve stayed in, covered in oil splatter and dirty dishes, where people apparently could not clean up after themselves! The fridges food storage was also very full, leaving little room for our bits. I guess the long-term slayers had a lot of this occupied. You had to rent cutlery and dishware to eat, which is a good system for those who refuse to wash up! No lights out policy and people in our dorm were going to wash their hair at 11.30 pm, so the lights didn't go out until midnight. Again, I guess this behavior is expected of hosts! The staff, though, was very welcoming and friendly, did not fault them at all! We were able to leave our bags in the store room before check in, which was extremely handy. The pool and relaxation areas looked really nice! Not much seating for socializing.

Three of the guests appeared to have been committed longterm slanders when we stayed in a fivebed dorm. They had already unpacked their entire bag, even had books on the shelves, and used all the plug sockets for their appliances. The mattresses were comfy, and the air conditioner in the room functioned fine, but there were dirty socks stuffed into one of the clean beds, which we used. The bathrooms were spotless and to the task. The kitchen was the same as any other hostel weve stayed in, covered in oil splatter and dirty dishes, which is undoubtedly impossible for people to clean up after themselves! The fridges and food storage was also quite full, leaving us with little room. I suppose the longterm slayers had a lot of this. You had to rent the cutlery and dish, which is a practical system for people who refuse to wash up! Nobody was going to wash their hair at 11 p.m., which meant that the lights wouldn't go out until about midnight. Again, I suppose this behavior is normal for hosting! But the staff was quite welcoming and polite, and could not fault them at all! Before checkin, we were able to leave our luggage in the storeroom, which was incredibly helpful. The pool and relaxation areas both appeared really lovely! There wasn't a lot of seating for social
