I booked a room with an excellent room size and soundproofing as well, and compared to the previous room, they can give a FREE breakfast, which is convenient. And then, the room was also quieter and spacious because of the noisy street crowds. Besides that, the friendliness of the employees was great.

I feel welcome here. I hope the staff are still friendly and attentive. A simple, no-frills hotel in a good location. The breakfast is great, and the location is perfect. Except for the minor things, there is no water or extras in the refrigerator, there is no iron or board in the room, room service is currently unavailable, and there is no tea or coffee maker. Like 3 star accommodation.

I would most definitely return to this hotel. Although we only stayed one night, it was a wonderful experience. When we checked in, the receptionist was fantastic and explained everything clearly. Because its literally less than 500 m from Salamanca, there isnt a better location. Our room had a lovely view of the parliament gardens and was equipped with a kettle, a small container of milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and two sets of toiletries. The only drawback was that the walls werent as soundproof as we had initially anticipated, and we were woken up several times in the night by people coming back in because I am naturally a sleeper.

From the location, it's a matter of walking up to the center of the cod, which is what really differentiates Customs House from other hotels. In general, we had a good stay and thought the hotel provided excellent value for money. In addition to being in a great location, the complimentary breakfast was excellent. We much preferred a selection from the a la carte menu rather than a subpar buffet. The room is simple and lacks a coffee maker or iron. Nevertheless, everything was clean and useful. No air conditioning was provided in the winter, just a pedestal fan and a wall heater. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but we had a decent night's sleep. The shower was nice and roomy, and it had excellent water pressure. The room was quiet with a view of parliament, but it was fine on Saturday night, which is to be expected. On our next trip to the heart, we would return to Customs House.
