I stayed here with my girlfriend over the Easter break and we had a great time there. The beds were so comfortable (even better than our bed at home), the showers were nice and hot and the manager was delightful.

My family arrived after flying for 3 days. The staff was extremely helpful making our stay extremely enjoyable good value for money. The manager even found me a wheel chair to hire.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The check in was really easy and well handled with a friendly smile. And the cleaning lady was not only working SUPER hard to get the rooms ready in hot and humid weather, but she was friendly, helpful and approachable. It was a real shame the pool was still out of service, but the staff were extremely apologetic about it and explained the issue was with the broken pool pump. The room was clean and comfortable. The fridge is tiny and the freezer part doesn't actually get down to freezing temperature, but this was really only an issue because I was going camping and needed to keep things cold. Location is pretty good - steps away from the supermarket and some food places and 5 minutes drive to the Heron Island Ferry. There do seem to be a lot of "residential" units where long-termers are staying, but all seemed quite friendly. The restaurant staff use the motel carpark so you may not always be able to park in front of your own unit but there did seem to be adequate parking in the lot.
