For one night, I stayed here, and it was incredible. The rooms were very pleasant, with a large king bed, excellent tea, and the most impressive ground coffee with a coffee plunger. The bathrooms are shared, but beautifully done, with plenty of hand towels and floor mats. The only drawback was that the pipes were quite noisy. Not ideal if your bedroom was close to the bathroom. The very best part about staying here as a single was the lovely restaurant downstairs. Really delicious food, a great selection of wines, and a cheery and extremely helpful personnel. If you keep in mind that this is a pub, although it is highly affordable, and set your expectations with this in mind, you won't be disappointed.

This is a restaurant that looks wonderful. It's a restaurant that looks lovely. The restaurant looks excellent. I retorted this hotel thinking it was just a pub with lodging but I was keen to have food available because that simplified things. When I got there at dusk, it was cold and wet from riding my motorcycle through fog and rain all day, I was scared to find the place all closed with closed Mondays signs on the door! I asked the next door and discovered the accommodation was fine, only the bar and restaurant were closed Mondays. At first this was disappointing, but then I discovered how many wonderful bars and restaurants were accessible within a 5-minute pleasant walk. The room was very modern and comfortable and had communal amenities a door away. The shared amenities were the greatest I have ever had in a pub or motel. Huge, immaculately clean, double shower I was traveling alone unfortunately extra towels, quality soaps, etc. In the future I will return here, but not on a monday.
