Had a tiny solo room on the bottom floor facing the parking lot. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. There was a motion sensor light in the lot that turned on briefly a few times or the sounds of a car door at night but I sleep well and could easily go back to bed. Rooms on the first floor are carpeted so I never heard anyone else in the building. If you’ve ever said “I just need a clean place to sleep” this is truly the place for you; no bells and whistles per se but clean sheets, a Netflix account and a private bathroom. I will say if you’re on the bottom floor that there is no lift so accessibility could be a challenge but staff were so friendly and helpful with my bags.

The room was small, but clean. Bed was very comfortable, great shower. Wifi and AC both worked. It had a microwave, tea pot and small fridge. Very helpful, friendly staff.

I was in a bad personal situation, the staff at this place go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Explaining my situation to the man this morning he was more than understanding and ever so kind to my situation. Helped bring my bags from my room outside and then again helped me take my bags out the front of the property The room was excellent and more than affordable. I highly and strongly recommended k2 for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay

I rated K2 as excellent value for the price. I stayed for six nights and had a great experience overall. Because I left at 5am each morning and didn’t return until around 9pm—outside reception hours—I didn’t get the chance to request a linen change. However, I’m completely confident that if I had asked, it would have been taken care of straight away. I booked a single room with a shared bathroom, though I wouldn’t really call it “shared” in the usual sense. Each bathroom is its own private room, so it felt just like being at home—simply step out of your bedroom and walk a few steps down the corridor to your own bathroom space.

Clean room, super friendly staff (great shout to Hazel), 10 mins bus to downtown Brisbane, since I have booked for more than 7 days, staff is really nice to upgrade my room. Thank you K2 team. One of the best hostels I would recommend!!!!

Very clean and organised, got told there was some shops down the road but didn’t visit them, staff were very nice and accomodating, air con was beautiful and beds are so comfy.

I had to visit my mum in the Saint Andrews War Memorial Hospital and it was very close to walk there. Rooms were awesome. Loved the convenience of having a microwave, kettle and toaster.
