We had a fantastic stay here- if you want to experience wildlife and nature then this is the place for you! Definitely take the evening nature walk, that was amazing, so many animals.

Situation exceptionnelle en bordure du parc de Flinders Range, à proximité de sites magnifique. Wallabies et koalas font partie du paysage. La visite nocturne du domaine avec un guide passionné est très instructive. Même la chambre standard en éco lodge a du charme. Service souriant et bon restaurant.

This property exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. We didn't spend too much time on the property as we went exploring once we checked in; however, there is a courtyard that is nice, that has critters coming and going that you can check out. The wifi was reliable. This property is essential if you are going to Flinders Chase.

The location and staff are fantastic. We saw wallabies, koalas, and possum on site. The restaurant is good and seems reasonable for the remoteness. It’s only a few minutes into Flinders Chase, which was a huge plus for us. The rooms are not fancy, but you aren’t going there for the room. We would love to return.

My wife and I just celebrated our fortieth wedding anniversary by spending seven nights at the KI Wilderness Retreat. We could not have been happier with our choice. The Retreat was very comfortable and friendly, all in a superb setting. Though on the western end of the island, it didn't hinder us driving all over the island over that week to enjoy the many sites KI has to offer. The Nicholas Baudin restaurant was top class for evening meals and served a reasonable buffet breakfast. The gourmet packed lunches that we twice ordered for day tripping were amazing and well worth the price.

Fantastisk beliggenhed, tæt på nationalparken. Der var desuden både wallabier, koalaer, possums etc. på selve grunden. Vi fik en fin aften rundvisning af en af de ansatte. God restaurant omend lidt prætentiøs. Stor morgenmad til rimelig pris. Rummet/badeværelset moderat, men sengen fin. Der var de nødvendige faciliteter. Wifi fungerede ikke i værelset og var meget langsomt i receptionen.

Fantastisk beliggenhed lige ved siden af nationalparken. Koalaer i træerne, wallabier og pungræve på området. God restaurant og god morgenmad til rimelig pris. Rummet havde de nødvendige faciliteter, men kunne godt være lidt renere. Der lå døde biller på gulvet langs panelerne. Wifi bør opgraderes.

Nous avons été ravie de notre séjour dans cet hôtel ! Lors de notre arrivée, nous avons été très bien accueillies. Le réceptionniste est un passionné des animaux et il nous a immédiatement montré un koala présent dans la propriété. Le soir, tout le monde a été invités pour un tour gratuit de la propriété. Nous avons eu de la chance de voir un koala, des kangaroo, wallabi, et même un scorpion.

This resort is an hour from the main town of Kingscoat, with no public transportation. The resort has resident wallabies, a Koala and a possum. You are adjacent to the Flanders Chase national park, but it’s a half hour drive. The location is great, just make sure you have a car.
