Beautiful historic cottage, tastefully renovated decorated and furnished. Nice breakfast provision. Big plus for the smart tv with Netflix. The hosts are very nice and caring. We would definitely come back here next time we visit Tasmania.

Immaculately clean and the bed was so comfortable. Owners were wonderful nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast provisions were yummy and so was the coffee. Only negative was the steepness of the stairs which you do need to traverse carefully. In a very handy position for sightseeing and in a quiet location too. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!

Truely amazing place to stay - we stayed for three nights and the cottage has everything you need - comfortable bed - large bathroom and a kitchen and BBQ with a beautiful little courtyard. The owners left us a beautiful basket of goodies and a lovely bottle of wine - everything was perfect-i would highly recommend to anyone to base themselves while checking out the area ( close drive into Hobart and Mona ). The other great thing is it was accessible to the pub across the road

This was our favourite accomodation during our holiday. A stunning historical cottage, renovated sympathetically to period and with bespoke fittings and fixtures. The hosts provide a beautiful goodie basket of local foods and wine as well as a lovely port and fudge. The cottage is very comfortable with a gorgeous bathroom, sitting room, king sized bed and a dressing room. We absolutely loved our stay - it’s in a lovely historic town and an easy drive to Hobart.

The cottage was absolutely everything that anyone looking for an authentic comfortable charming stay could wish for. Top quality bedding, outstanding furnishings and lovely big bathroom. Location is perfect for visits to any part of the Island. On top of that Lawrence and Susan would do anything for you and the treats they welcome you with go above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced anywhere.

We just needed a place to rest and stumbled upon a gem. A tangeable little piece of history. What a great surprise this place was. An unexpected home away from home. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Susan who showed us around the flat and gave us tips on where to dine. The flat itself is brand new with all the mod cons with one of the most comfortable beds ever! This area and the flat itself are steeped in history. Reading the provided booklet opened our eyes to where we were staying and made a short stay that more interesting. To top it off Lawrence took the time to say hi in the morning and offered for us to take our time. Our overall experience was that they went above and beyond on every aspect of the flat and their hospitality. Definitely recommend stopping here!

When we got back from 32 days of traveling around the world, my wife and I finally have enough time to thank Lawrence and Susan and their furry assistants!, the proprietors of mythos row in Pontville, for an outstanding stay in August. Mythos Row was used to explore tasmanian for a future transfer to live in 2023, and after a busy journey in today's tough times through London, Singapore, Sydney, and Melbourne, it was an island of calm to spend time in their colonial cottages. From the welcome basket, a mix of practical and delicious, it began with the welcome basket! I realize that each cottage is a little different, but ours was wonderful, featuring a mix of traditional architectural details on two floors such as rugged exposed brickwork, flagstone kitchen floors, and old light switches as well as modern conveniences like practical heating air conditioning, a plush but comfortable king bed, solid wifi to plan those day trips, and a modern, gorgeous bathroom filled with light from the garden, fragrant ohana products, and fluffy robes! It was the ideal setting to explore the rest of the island, or just relax while reading a book or enjoying a glass of wine, not only was the lodging and attention to detail a relaxing change of pace for us, but also was the ideal location to explore the rest of the

A home away from home. From the luxurious, cozy king bed, standard shower for those of us who wanted to keep our hair dry or the rainfall shower, everything was absolutely fantastic and extremely clean! A selection of wine glasses red, white, sparkling, aperitif, kitchen plates, utensils, and a microwave! All the extra little thoughtful touches, including heating on for a rainy day arrival, gourmet lassie hamper packed full of yummy treats, port and fudge to enjoy after dinner, fluffy dressing gowns, and slippers, among other amenities. Our pups also enjoyed their first vacation and had a great time staying at mythos. Thank you lawrence and susan, we had a wonderful time and would certainly come back!.

When we stayed here for a few days last week, my husband and I were very pleased with how much we had hoped for. From Lawrence, we were very pleased with the atmosphere of the cottage. All the positive ratings show the point of the stay. Don't be afraid to come here because you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic lodging with the comforts of home and tastefully executed in an old building with a lot of history dating back to the early days.
