If youre staying in Sydney, i would definitely recommend this hostel. Fantastic hostel with lots of longterm residents and easy access to make new friends. It is neat and clean. The people working behind the reception are lovely and very friendly, and laura was fantastic and helpful!.

This is the best hostel that I've ever stayed at! The location is great, close to everywhere or a few minutes from the train station. The cleanliness here was nice, as well as the food that they serve was always excellent. In the rooftop, the view here was also stunning.

The rooftop is the ideal spot to unwind on a hot summer day, especially when the free weekly bbq is on. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and there is always someone cleaning the common areas. The area is very nice with lots of recent renovations, not at all the dingy image some might associate with kings cross. Rushcutters bay park is 5 minutes walk away, and the lovely redleaf beach is 20 minutes walk away. Great hostel in an ideal location with easy access to cbd and bondi a 4 minute walk away.

Kings cross backpackers is one of the best places ive stayed. Its such a clean hostel with a very inviting atmosphere. The staff are brilliant, very helpful and friendly. Theres a daily update of all the events going on in sydney and they also organize their own events. I highly recommend staying here! Staying here has made my trip to sydney so much fun!.

Overall, i give this hostel a perfect 10 out of 10. Its the best hostel ive ever stayed at! The staff is friendly, the place is very clean, and there are always events and free food nights going on! The rooftop is amazing with great views too. The location is perfect, walking distance to most places or just a few minutes to the station.

I originally booked a 6 bed room, but due to my extended booking, management upgraded me to a 4 bed room for free. My roommates were very respectful, nice to socialize with, and i had a great time with the mad monkey events they held. Who else can offer a drink at happy hour and a pizza buffet for under $15?.

The hostel is very clean with great facilities. The staff is very friendly. Everyone looks like a big family. Great location with a short walk to tain station. Made my australia trip a great experience with great people.

I love it here, the vibe is perfect! I frequently travel to and from south sydney, and this has always been and will be my home base. It has rooms at various prices to suit your needs, and the rooftop is the best for evening drinks. Recently, there have been many positive changes, and im finally getting around to posting reviews because they deserve recognition! Love you, mmb, ill be back soon.

This hostel is absolutely wonderful. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring a warm welcome throughout my stay in Sydney. The rooftop is truly remarkable, hosting a free bbq and goon night every Friday, and hosting events every night, conveniently located near the train station. The breakfast provided is truly exceptional, and i highly recommend this hostel.

It felt more like a home away from home. Lounging in a sky chair or doing yoga on the rooftop. The space was great, but the people really made it special. The staff made me feel very welcome. More like friends than hosts.

Considering the quantity of guests staying in such a tiny hostel, the employees did a terrific job of keeping it clean. The manager was pleasant, unless she took away alcohol. The doors are locked at night for security, which is reassuring, and someone is accessible until at least four in the morning if you get locked out. Overall, a nice hostel, but I'll be moving to the base hostel today for some nice air conditioning. If you have substantial luggage or suitcases, there isn't an elevator. The slowest functioning fans from the 1900 s made the rooms and bathrooms very hot. It was so hot that my buddy and I struggled to breathe! I mean consistently! The cleaners banging about every morning's silence cannot be maintained. The Kings Cross district is not recommended. It's a 30-minute walk to town or a one-way train for about 3. 50. The workers made an excellent job of keeping it clean. Unless she was taking alcohol, the manager was courteous. It's reassuring that doors are locked at night for safety, and someone is available until april if you get locked out.

The free breakfast is a big plus, its probably the best ive had in a hostel thus far. The large rooftop is the ideal place for drinking and meeting new people. Good location and very social. Had a great time here.
