The location is good, close to the city center, so it is easy to reach by train or bus. I chose this place for my first stop in sydney. I took the train from the airport with two suitcases and then took the bus. After a short walk uphill, i arrived. If i took another bus, i could avoid walking that far. So it is quite convenient when i return around 10-11 pm. The kitchen is small and occupied. There is a small water dispenser in the kitchen. And there is no space in the refrigerator or dry food shelf unless you are lucky or know how to find an extra space in the fridge. The kitchen has a small water machine, and the bowl and plates are not made of thick plastic, so you can only use the stove closer to the wall. So if you need to cook, you have to wait. There are only 3 tables in the common area. The staff is friendly, but it seems more like a party for staff and longterm residents. The free meals night sounds exciting, but it seems more like a party for the guests than a party. The room is quite occupied. There is a door connected to another store, and there is a fridge in the kitchen, but it is not worth it because it belongs to the store. The staff does clean the room and kitchen on a regular basis. So it is clean in comparison. But when i checked out, they said i only need to recycle the pillowcase. I was unsure about other bed sheets. There are hostels without air conditioning at the same price. There are hostels with cockroaches. There is public transportation far from hostels.

Would definitely recommend it. Excellent hostel in a prime location for exploring the city. All areas are kept neat and tidy, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Good social gatherings are also planned.

Overall, a very positive experience. I appreciate your stay! Short notice availability, a decent place that was quite reasonable for the price, and a decent room that met my expectations for the price range. I never had to wait for a shower because the bathrooms were spotless and filled with them. The kitchen and common area were lovely, orderly, and cozy, and the shower pressure and temperature were excellent. Nice gathering atmosphere. Jake at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating, assisting me with a receipt i had forgotten to grab upon payment, as well as offering recommendations for local eateries. A free anytime fitness gym pass was a nice bonus!.

If i ever find myself in Sydney again, i will definitely stay at this hostel! The hostel is truly exceptional! The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and we are definitely looking forward to staying here again!.

I stayed here for a couple of weeks when i just arrived in australia and had no complaints. Yes, you will share your room but its a chance to make friends and meet new people so thats a plus. The bathrooms were clean and bigger than i expected. They have a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, gaming area there is a play station, laundry and you get a free pass to a very cool gym just a few minutes away from the hostel. Oh, and they offer some evening events a couple of days a week where you can get free food or participate in some cool activities. Overall if you are coming alone to sydney and dont know anyone and dont have much money it is the perfect place to stay at the beginning of your trip. Also they had a great location near bus stops, train station, parks, malls and more. Its a safe choice.

I have stayed at this hostel three times and cant recommend it enough. The staff is very friendly, the location is good, close to the cbd. The hostel is clean, offers a free gym pass and lots of free activities!.

I heartily endorse this hostel, especially considering that ive visited a few other hostels in the vicinity of Sydney. Excellent value for the money and a wonderful little community here. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, always going above and beyond to assist. The facilities are excellent, and everything is cleaned at least once a week, making it quite clean, especially when compared to other hostels. Im glad i discovered this hostel, as it is ideal for people like myself who enjoy socializing, like meeting new people, and want to have a good time.

This hostel was ideal for solo travelers. My stay there was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, and it was incredibly simple to chat and meet new people. The location is very close to the central station, bus and tram stops. The facilities were consistently very clean, especially the showers and bathrooms.

The hostel offers the best value for money in the city. Its clean, and you can actually sleep here. The hostel features air conditioning, a good coffee shop around the corner, free gym access, a park in front, friendly staff, decent social interaction, and good showers. The only drawback was the lack of a good communal area, so if you want to party, dont book here. Overall, i give this hostel a 5star rating.

I have stayed in the best hostel that i have ever stayed in, it has amazing amenities and is very clean. The staff goes above and beyond, they are very friendly and welcoming as a solo backpacker. Great location too! I cant fault this hostel, it deserves 5 stars.

The kitchen is small and the only place to hang out with other backpackers other than the reception. The rooms are quiet and dark and the beds are comfortable. Mad monkey b&b is great, reminds me of the one in cairns! Great people.

I had a great time there! The hostel is quite neat and clean! The staff is really kind and kind. You can easily get to know everyone there because the hostel is small! Additionally, the evening specials add to the pleasant hostel atmosphere (pasta night, game night, etc. ).

I cant recommend this hostel highly enough, its in a fantastic location and a great place to stay all around! Ive been incredibly enjoying my stay so much that ive extended my stay every week for the past two months! The staff is fantastic, friendly, and extremely helpful. I couldnt have asked for a better welcome from the staff and was always available for anything i needed. The facilities are amazing, always clean and well maintained. Events every night make it very sociable, especially for solo travelers looking to make new friends. I also like the added benefit of free gym access! The rooms are great, with very comfortable beds and are kept neat and tidy.

Clean rooms and facilities. Close to the city and friendly guys at reception. A bit noisy, especially in the afternoon if you want to rest. We could hear everyone running, jumping and talking very loudly but i guess its because most of them are young. And thats fine, just keep it in mind. They also give you free entry to the gym, the kitchen is large and clean. Thank you guys.
