Princess Lodge Motel is in the historic North Adelaide suburb, surrounded by parks and historic homes. Parking is available on site. Free public transport is steps away, and more frequent public transport is a short walk away. As it is a historic building, each room is different. A simple breakfast is included with the accommodation. Reception is not 24 hours, so out of hours arrivals should make prior arrangements. Our room had private bathroom with shower only, a small kitchenette with sink, kettle, fridge coffee and tea, period characteristics furniture and a comfortable bed. The upper floor also has a communal lounge room. The staff was polite and efficient.

Super unique and full of character very old-school, with a charming classic English / European royal-era vibe. The place feels truly authentic, especially in its layout and access, which makes the stay feel different from a typical modern motel. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I really appreciated being able to use the microwave in the breakfast room every night to prepare my own dinner it made my stay much more comfortable and flexible. The continental breakfast was simple but just right. One of the highlights is the view right across the motel: a huge open field with horses and hundreds of galahs flying and resting there throughout the day. It’s absolutely perfect for watching the sunset. Overall, a cozy, warm, and genuinely memorable place to stay.
