We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the recently refurbished rydges. The rooms are fantastic, and it is clear that they have gone above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the convenience of selfcheckin made the process a breeze. The location is ideal, especially if you want to catch a show or dine out. Despite its modest outdoor pool, the terrace area offers a refreshing soak in the vibrant Melbourne sun. We wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The bed was very comfortable! Really nice modern hotel. Great location to all the restaurants and to explore the city. Standard room was a bit small for multiple nights stay for the price you pay. Also only enough supplies for one day (coffee and tea) so you have to keep asking for things.

Highly recommended. Quick and simple checkin. Welldesigned, roomy, and cozy room with a great bed and linen. Individual control of the air conditioner. Great atmosphere and nice extras for the australian open. A professionally managed establishment.

The hotel was recently refurbished and was very pleasant. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in early once our room was ready. Ebony in particular reached out before our stay to arrange something special, going above and beyond with genuine passion. Love her so much. The room had a beautiful view and plenty of space. Unfortunately, the only downside was the air conditioning, which still didnt work properly despite being fixed.

This hotel has recently undergone renovations. We stayed in a King corner room on level 6. When we arrived, we checked in ourselves, but the staff greeted us. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom area. The room had all the amenities you would expect from an innercity hotel in melbourne. However, there are two things to consider. Bathroom ventilation requires serious attention, and the shower mixer requires a lot of patience to get the temperature right. Other than that, it was a great stay, and i will definitely stay there again on my next trip to mel.

We had a wonderful time here! With the assistance of ebony, the expert in guest experience, we had a modest onenight getaway for our anniversary. She was outstanding in her communication and went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing time at the hotel. She was a lifesaver!.

What a surprise! This hotel recently underwent a facelift. Absolutely stunning! From the scent to the highly technologically advanced checkin and checkout process. The rooms are sleek and comfortable. A huge surprise, and highly recommended for those visiting the theatre district of Melbourne.

The hotel is fantastic. The staff, the room, and the location you will love staying at the rydges hotel, we will be back. The lights were turned on while we were out so we didnt enter a dark room, i think they were on a timer, the beds are very comfortable, but the pillows were quite high, the room was very quiet, which was nice. The pool is beautiful, with lounge chairs around the pool, the water is warm not cold. Breakfast was included in the price we paid, what a variety of food, sorry, the poached eggs cooked in vinegar and they werent poached they were hard boiled, had a very strong veer taste to them, i like toasted raisin bread toasted or not found that it was dry, but overall the breakfast was welcomed and they had lots of food. Our stay was wonderful in general, the location is so close to everything, china town is just a hop step and jump from the hotel, there are many great restaurants around the place, parking we were told it was $50 per night we thought that was a bit steep, so we found a cheaper parking just down the road for $20 but you had to pick up your car before 6 a.M. To avoid being charged another day. Thank you, Sandra.

I had a solo trip to australia and it was amazing. I chose to stay at the rydges and it was such a great hotel. Located on the east side, near parliament station, chinatown and opposite the theatre. Also close to the free trams so it is very easy to get around. The hotel design is beautiful, the rooms are nicely set up and the bed was the comfiest ever! I would stay again in a heartbeat. Check in was so easy you basically do it all yourself. The hotel has a great gym, rooftop pool, bar and restaurant! Must stay!.

Beautiful stay, the staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were super comfortable. The only bad thing was that i got charged for something from the mini bar that i never took, said they would refund and never did.

Would return. Such a lovely interior design. The rooms are quite large. Especially if you pay for the next generation deluxe king room. Its nice to have an outdoor pull to catch some rays, but not a very nice pool. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Not large, but there is still plenty of choice.

My daughter and i stayed at this wellappointed hotel. The whole experience from booking to checkout was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I expressed my concerns about higher floor levels and to my surprise when i arrived, an upgraded room was assigned to me on level 3. This room was clean and well designed. I loved the luxurious deep oval bath. The beds were also comfortable. The only downside i would say is that the kettle was too small. But it was fine for a few cups. Also, it would have been nice to have some plates and more tea and coffee. These small issues aside, i would not hesitate to book a stay in the future. Also, the location is great and offers everything you need within walking distance. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful hotel with a great location and excellent service. On the first night, i experienced air conditioning issues that completely deprived me of sleep. I ended up getting upgraded to ensure that the air conditioning issue was resolved. Not quite, so if you enjoy arctic cold temperatures like me and have your fan speed set to continuous mode, the system appears to switch to an automatic feature late at night, even though the wall panel has the desired fan speed set. Thus, it will switch between a high fan and a low fan all night long. It was beyond the staffs control, but they did everything in their power to make it happen. I still had a great time with them. The hotel bar is also fantastic.

Im looking forward to returning here. Well executed renovation. Clean all around, nice rooftop pool, great staff. I liked the previous girl in the elevator who announced the floors and directions of travel. She had a lovely accent. The new girl sounds too robotic.

The rydges is within walking distance to fantastic shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Easy check in and out and the staff are all amazing and will help you with anything. I also had the buffet breakfast and had no complaints there. Best location ever.

We will definitely return! I had the pleasure of staying at the rydges for the first time and had a great time! Our deluxe apartment room was stunning, and our checkin with lalit went smoothly and with friendliness. Throughout our entire visit, we had excellent service, but raul, at the front desk, was exceptionally kind and accommodating. The food served at the restaurant, bar, and room service was all excellent. The hotel has recently undergone renovations, and the interior design is stunning!.

We had an amazing stay last night and were upgraded to an apartment. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and the food was delicious. Looking forward to returning.
