Loved our stay here. Very friendly staff, with diverse employment which was impressive. It’s a profit-for-purpose hotel, with 25 cents from every dollar spent funding YWCA programs. So close to Hyde Park, so everything was walkable. Breakfast was great, sausages, bacon, eggs, toast, espresso machines, fruit, cereal, etc. kept full and hot for 3 hours. Lots of tables so it was a relaxed start to our day.

Hotel is new/updated. Rooms are smaller but have everything you need. Close to everything. About 30 min walk to Opera House and attractions. Only 5 stops from international airport to train station, then a 5 min walk to hotel. They have an excellent breakfast 7a-1030a.

The location is excellent and walkable to parks, Opera House, Botanical Gardens, Aquarium etc The buffet breakfast included, was great. The restaurant attached, although small, has delicious food and chose to eat there all 3 nights. Highly recommend The Song, and definitely would be my 1st choice again.

I liked the location at the interesting end of town and easy to walk to all amenities, transport, sights etc. The smiling staff were helpful and efficient. The room had a queen size bed with a good not too soft mattress, quality linen and a selection of pillows with different densities and loft. The ensuite was clean and ergonomically well designed. No complaints. I will stay at the Song again on my next visit to Sydney.
