We chose to stay at the spicers balfour hotel because it was dogfriendly for our two 14yearold caprin dogs. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. Since no other guests were dining on the terrace, we were able to bring the dogs there to enjoy lunch with us. After lunch, knowing that the canines would be safe and secure in their room, they allowed us to go out and enjoy local venues like the Howard Smith wharves. Balfours is unique in this respect, where you can leave dogs unattended for a short period of time. I highly recommend balviers!.

I have nothing more to say about this location. The staff we encountered were the friendliest and most delightful people. From arrival (we arrived early and enjoyed coffee and breakfast while we waited for our rooms. Really lovely staff were very accommodating from arrival. Dinner is amazing. Our only regret was not eating there for dinner as it would have been fantastic based on what we sampled for breakfast and lunch. A very varied menu and as someone who travels frequently, i am so happy to see creative dishes served for brunch other than eggs any style. My elderly parents were also very warm and sweet, and the man at breakfast was very friendly and kind. We felt like we were staying with a family host. I hope management reads this and knows that the staff at spicers balfour are commendable and truly make this hotel ten in my opinion. Also kudos to the lovely bar waiter who was so friendly

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in our lovely city. We particularly enjoyed the tasting dinner and were fortunate to be able to spend the night before heading out for breakfast the following day. The location is excellent, the atmosphere is tranquil, and the staff members are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Additionally, we enjoyed enjoying the stunning view from the rooftop cocktail bar.

My husband and i have just had the most wonderful stay at the balfour hotel, starting with a phone call from maxine letting us know there was an early checkin and an upgrade to savoring tastier studio upon arrival. We enjoyed bbq drinks on the rooftop bar and delicious dinner at restaurant. Maxine and all the staff we dealt with during our stay are credited to management. Thank you all for your wonderful service to your guests. I will definitely be back!.

This place has everything you could want, both as a hotel and tavern. It would be difficult to criticize our experience. You can tell from the way the personnel were acting out while you were watching them. The morale was good and evident in their actions. Food was excellent. Excellent wines are served by wonderful people. Do yourself opportunistic.

My partner and i spent two nights here with our dog over two weekends last month, and it was wonderful. Quality petfriendly alternatives are few and far between in Brisbane, but this was by far our favorite because the bar and restaurant allowed pets. The general manager was kind enough to arrange a socially distant table on the rooftop for us to enjoy our final dinner there. Food always tastes great. We only live 10 minutes away so had eaten there on several occasions before actually staying. Without denying that we will be back in the future.

The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The property is smaller than other spicers properties so the room feels smaller but still great. Great breakfast the next morning (i had kimchi chicken waffles - delicious! ) and great coffee. Loved the 11 am checkout so we didnt have to rush. Good service.

The people and culture accelerator program at spicers balfour was a huge success. The food is excellent, the sila room with its treelined view is incredibly beautiful for training, and bianca bekhore, conference coordinator, was exceptional she went above and beyond to ensure we had fab experiences and was very responsive to our ontheday needs. I will definitely be back!.

The suite accommodation is charming, and the onsite restaurant is well worth a visit even if you arent staying at the hotel. The staff is polite. Excellent value for the money with the included breakfast and dinner rate. Great location!.

We had a great time during our onenight stay here. In the afternoon, we enjoyed savoring calming beverages on the rooftop. The following morning, there was likewise drooster breakfast. Excellent service and staff.

The suites are located in a beautifully renovated old building and are very beautiful and comfortable. The location is perfect for seeing rays of different side of Brisbane (we had an event at the powerhouse and it was just nearby) and the breakfast at restaurant was great. A perfect stay.

My partner and i went here last night for dinner. What a hidden gem! The food and wine were delicious. Great portions for the price. Murray, who looked after our table, provided us with excellent service. He was friendly and very helpful with any questions we had about the wines and menu. We will definitely be back, maybe well try breakfast the next time and see if it is just as good!.

I adore this hotel, its a little treasure. I am enjoying kristies delectable double shot latte while pondering when i can return. For my twonight stay, ive been upgraded to deluxe suites. The interior is stunning, like vogue magazine, and the bathroom is generously sized. In addition, the minibar has all of my favorite brands of wines.

We had a great time at balfour. The restaurant received excellent reviews and rewards, with large portions so beware! Every morning, breakfast was perfect, featuring some surprises on the menu. Brisbane was warm, sunny, and fantastic if you wanted to escape the rain and cold. Worth examining. New farm is less than ten minutes walk from the bustle of Howard street wharf (restaurants, bars, etc.) but you can sleep soundly because the hotel rooms are peaceful. If you have the chance, dont miss the rooftop bar, the high tea, or, best of all, everyone in the staff is outstanding. Kenny is the best, which is really saying something.

We had the pleasure of stopping at the spicers balfour hotel after a 'cocktail cruise, and we were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem that i had never realized existed. The decor and interior design were elegant and sophisticated, the view from the bar was breathtaking with greenery and good shots of the Story bridge. And the barstender, sebastian, was renowned and didnt make blustery drinks all night! Not only will ill be back in the future, but if my friends come up to Brisbane and want to explore, he will bring them along. Cheers!.
