The staff were incredible. They went out of their way to be helpful. The food was amazing. Healthy and creative and so delicious. Loved it. I’ll definitely be going back. It’s a break to reconnect with nature - as such there are windows in the bedrooms with no blinds so you wake up slowly with the morning light. Personally I prefer black out blinds but it is in keeping with what the hotel is trying to do. I also feel a juicer on site to have freshly prepared juices would not go amiss but these are tiny things. The hotel and service was outstanding

The interior is beautifully decorated with tasteful furnishings and modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and immaculately clean, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. One of the standout features of this property is its stunning outdoor space and most divine food. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee, or lounging in the sun-drenched garden, you'll feel a sense of peace and tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. All in all, I can't recommend this property enough - this is our second visit and will be coming back again soon.

Incredible, just what we needed after 2021. It felt like we were a million miles away from Sydney, which is just an hours drive. Staff were excellent, always there smiling and wanting the guests to have a wonderful time. Lovely chef, delicious food which was perfect combo of light and incredibly fresh whilst also being delicious.

The service and the staff at Spicers Sangoma was fantastic, in particular John and Charlotte. The food was excellent- fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, innovative and refined. Credit goes to the young chef - Will and team, who also took the time to converse with guests. We had the tent Accomodation- it was lovely albeit the outside space was under-utilised because it was cold. I would suggest that additional lighting be provided on the outside deck for reading etc. overall, wonderful experience and would love to visit the other Spicers Retreats.

We stayed at the tent suite, very quiet and spacious, shower and bath next to the window, the view was outstanding. Hotel is in good condition, adequate and well decorated. Food and service was flawless, I can’t fault anything. We also enjoyed the nearby bush walking, gym and shops are just a short drive away. We had a wonderful experience, will be back, thanks!

Amazing stay at Spicers Sangoma. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and given a tour of the Property with all the amenities. Our room was ready before the check in time so they took us to the room. The food and wines on offer were lovely. We truly enjoyed it and even had massages which were great. Will definitely love another stay.

To honor our wedding anniversary, we went to sangria. Even though the richmond and windsor bridges were closed due to recent rains, it was an easy trip from Sydney. It was fantastic. From the moment we came, we felt completely spoiled. The accommodations were beautiful and had outstanding attention to detail. I can honestly say I can not fault anything about the employees. I wish I could remember to mention the lovely waitress. The cuisine was countless and delectable. I would suggest walking to the nearby vale of avoid lookout, which we took. The small town of Kurrajong was also a delightful surprise with a few lovely homegrown and garment shops. It was simply well worth a visit. Thanks to the manager and chef who made our stay so memorable. Thank you.

We stayed in a bush retreat lodge for one night. We were given a glass of champagne each upon arrival, but my husband didn't respond to my request for a distinct drink than champagne. He doesn't drink champagne. For our included lunch, we were taken to the restaurant and informed that we would be having steak, despite the fact that there was no choice. I'm not positive what they'd give you if you didn't eat steak because there was no choice. The vegetables were tasty but extremely cold. The steak was very tender. Dessert included a meringue sorbet. The complimentary wine is excellent. We entered our room. It was beautiful, tidy, and roomy. Next, dinner was unrestrained once more. There was no option again. We were told that dried vine leaves were used for the appetizers, but they were cabbage with an eggplant dip. Although the dip was delicious, one spoon and no plate made it a little odd to eat. Two slices of toast avocado and two cold-grilled eggs were provided. Finally, kingfish cured in gin was provided. Breakfast was meant to be a la carte the following morning. A little portion of fruit was laid in front of us. Duck was delicious but once more cold. A kiwi parfait was the dessert. In a cafe in Windor, we would have had a
