Huge apartment. Great Location. Excellent communication with the Apartment Manger, Bill. Kangaroos lazing right outside our door. Lots to keep the kids busy and an easy walk to the pub. Highly recommend The Islander for your Straddie trip.

The Islander Resort is ideally located on Nth Straddie to access all that the island has to offer. The managers of the resort were friendly and welcoming, the rooms extremely well outfitted with everything you could possibly need. The pool and tennis courts a fun distraction for the kids.

Exactly what I wanted in a holiday room! I took all my own cutlery/bowls/plates and everything I'd need to clean but it was all provided! Friendly, approachable people & amazing location, you definitely get your momeys worth - I'm going back next year!

Right across from the beach and a nice walk to Point Lookout (there is hills). Great cafe for breakfast a 2 minute walk away. The bus from the ferry drops you across the road. The property was clean and affordable.

Good clean accommodation, close to beach, staff very friendly and helpful. The building is looking a bit dated and tired, the pool is excellent, lots of sunbeds and chairs. My unit was a studio apartment, it contained everything needed for a comfortable week long stay. Plenty of pots, pans, cups etc etc. The surrounding gardens were imaculate and tended each day by the gardener. All in all, I would stay again and I would recommend this place to friends and family.
