I love the old convent. The proprietors are a true proponent of this wonderful structure. When we discovered we hadn't reserved a dinner, they were very accommodating. The cuisine was excellent. There was a wide variety for the continental breakfast and even gluten-free alternatives, which was nice to see. We stayed in an upstairs room and enjoyed the layout and tranquility of this place. The apartment was large and had its own balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning provided a nice heating solution when necessary.

I stayed for one night and had dinner at the old monastery. They have a menu but cater to dietary requirements. I mentioned it was my birthday and they gave me a little cup cake with a candle as a dessert! Very thoughtful. The room was great and the pool was nice to dip first thing in the morning.

This is a beautiful restored homestead with a friendly and helpful staff. It's located just outside Dalwallinu, in a peaceful natural environment. There is plenty of parking and a decent breakfast on site. There is an outdoor pool but it was closed when we visited. Highly recommended.

Our group of about 40 people spent two visits to this location. The first was for a morning tea, which cost 10 dollars per person. There was a choice of teacoffee, along with a choice of a small plate of cakes or scones, jamcream, or hamcheese croissants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The second visit was to attend a quiz night that our group organized. The staff prepared a mini meal that included a choice of peter soup or vegetable soup, both with a bread bun or two. The soups were excellent.

We spent one night last week. Check in with the lovely Kristy. Dalwallinu is a charming little town with some good dining options for supper at night. Pro The quality bed linen and amenities were great. The communal bathroom and toilet were disappointing to my husband, especially when another guest had been cleaning it for a long time in the morning. The continental breakfast could use some stewed fruit, but overall the experience was of a pleasant place and good value for money.
