This place is the ideal choice for a family or group of people. The atmosphere at the hotel was cozy, and the staff was helpful even when the room was full. They also serve excellent pizza. There are also cheap takeaways. The food is expensive in Mayrhofen. I had a very lovely pizza. They have to wait very long to serve, which is a sign that they are in demand.

The location is in the heart of Mayrhofen so it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the wonderful weather. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They provide a lounge with good seats. The place is the perfect place for a drink or meal.

In January 2019 we went snowboarding with Crystal at the Gasthof edelweiss for a week. The train station is about a 10 minute walk from the weaken gondola in one direction and the weaken gondola in the other. Our bedroom had a lovely balcony with a city view, and it was very spacious and pleasant. The toilet was excellent, and the bed was comfortable. The dining room was good enough and the hotel's in-house bar was friendly. Although it was fairly standard, the meal was good. In the restaurant area, breakfast was served buffet-style. We only ate dinner in the hotel twice, on our first night, the restaurant menu was the same thing until the following week. The gear storeroom was downstairs. Not particularly practical, but it was not the most inconvenient weve ever had. At least the stairs were inside, so they didn't become icy. This hotel would without a doubt be a great choice as a Mayrhofen base.
