A nice fourstar hotel on the top of an italyaustria pass. Having been to the region for skiing several times in various hotels, I find Sonnenalpe according to the price-per-day ratio a good place to visit. Excellent location, great views over the mountains in the early morning and at evening sunsets. Ski in, ski out is another advantage. big garage just below the hotel. excellent reception team, always smiling, quick, efficient and eager to please. You may basically continue eating on full board throughout the day if you feel like it. Also, the food served at the buffets for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner is absolutely delicious. A good person will undoubtedly miss some complimentary bubbles over breakfast. Prosecco would do. A surprise wine list for four stars in the evening. Nice, well maintained rooms. Large and well equipped wellness area with friendly staff. The jacuzzi water is much too cold, same for showers. The ski boots depot is probably the only really annoying drawback, with a restricted space for two people in a double room, as well as an idiotic locking system. I believe the front desk staff spends a significant amount of their time helping guests open and close the lockers. Approach from the Austrian side during snowfall. Italian is much more spectacular, but dangerous.

I spent three nights here on a weekend skiing trip. Since I was a kid, I had been traveling to the Nassfeld ski area, and Sonnenalpe was perhaps the worst. By no means the location is perfect, offering easy access to the slopes. I would advise the administration to take action to minimize the mud and ice surrounding the entryway because they pose considerable safety risks when ascending and ascending the elevators. The rooms and amenities are also excellent. The design feels new and trendy, the noise cancelation is excellent, and despite the fact that we were sleeping relatively close to the bar area, we couldn't hear anything. The spa area is the cause of the problems, the pool is not really warm enough. Despite the fact that there was not a single person swimming outside besides me, that says it all. Although the shower does not have warm water, the sauna area is nice. No one even glances at me in the restaurant, so it's a shame that we did it all day. Although it was an uncommon mellow affair, the bar was excellent. That would be ideal. While the opening hours, I'm not sure how it's due to the general population, it is not an issue, rather, the management and ownership are trying to subdue us by doing such a deceit. In addition to being pleasant, the hotel staff was consistently attentive and timely in cleaning the rooms, whether it was just the regular cleaning, which included a 10-day stay with a family of 5 adults, of course the incredible mountain skiing. The manager, Susan tine, the check-in process, and the receptionist, all speak excellent English and were accommodating to any concerns of the client. The bartender and restaurant personnel, as well as the kitchen cook, were generally very courteous and thoughtful, offering an infinite variety of dishes with new menus, such as gourmet vegetarians, cocktails, and cocktails. They were prepared to address any concerns of their customers and understood why they were so helpful.
