This family-run hotel feels like a cottage with wooden beams and quaint atmosphere, situated peacefully in the mountains next to a cable car point. My mother and I were so impressed by the kindness of the staff and the chalkboard dinner offering, which was different and delicious each day. Theres a wide variety at breakfast too. Comfort room was large enough, very clean and with good views. It has elevators for accessibility. We didn't have time to try the spa. The only downside is quite far from the train station 30 taxi ride and another hour by train to Salzburg. I would really recommend planning your hiking and day trips before the holiday and renting a car if possible, to make the most of it. Taxis here are very expensive and there are no buses. I found the reception staff struggled to make recommendations in english if youre German youll have no problem and could not find concise information about local lakes and attractions. I had to use google and found one of the beautiful places mins away jagersee lake. Plan and youll be fine.

The hotel is fantastic. It has a personal Apresski bar and is next to the Panoramabahn. You can ski directly through the hotel's front door. The wellness is excellent, the only thing lacking is a swimming pool, though the hotel has arrangements with the nearby hotel where you may use the swimming pool, if the whirlpool is inadequate. The food they provided was of quality to standard. The menu offers a wide variety and if you book half board, you will have both a choice each evening or a buffet with numerous options. Lunch is also excellent.

The cleaning facility at the hotel was good and they also give us a comfortable room. The employees were very helpful and really make our stay worthwhile.
