The location is good, just a short walk down the hill into the center of verden. When my boyfriend and I stayed there, it was about 100 degrees and humid in verden. The fact that there was no air conditioning was disappointing and made staying in the room during the day uncomfortable and sleeping there at night difficult. What makes this place above average is the host, Maria, who is really pleasant and helpful. The views are beautiful, and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking at them. It is in a good location, only a short walk down the hill into the center of verden. What could be improved when my boyfriend and I were there, it was about 100 degrees and humid. The lack of air conditioning was disappointing and made staying in the room during the day uncomfortable and sleeping there at night difficult. Second, I really wish there were top sheets on the bed. I'm not sure if it's an Austrian thing, but there is only a fitted sheet on the mattress and a small, but thick comforter. The comforter didn't appear to have a duvet cover on it, so I wonder how they wash it between guest stays. Him is not something I wanted to think too much about.

I traveled with my friends and it was a pleasant stay with great views and a 2-minute walk from the center of the Rthersee. Stayed for 2 nights over a long weekend. Meals are not served except basic std australian style breakfast this was nice and as expected and ate out for dinner. Very relaxing casual environment and staff very helpful and pleasant. I don't understand the earlier review from the English visitor very unfair from our experience and Totally contradictory expectations based on the description of the facility when you search and book. It doesn't pretend to be a 5-star all-inclusive hotel and it's just been lovelyly renovated in retro theme that's modern but not over the top. We are from Australia and have the same language difficulties but no issues for us. As a luxury lake view was also very reasonable and cheaper than others, and a simple friendly and no-frill place to stay. We agree with other reviews absolutely beautiful lake views from our top room at the front. If that's your preference, it's a very easy walk to the town center, shops, casino etc.

Our initial impression was poor. There was a phone number that didn't respond because the receptionist had closed for the day, but ultimately we discovered our key cards in a tunnel. But, to be honest, the next day, the administration lady did have our Rthersee discount cards ready for us. A lifestyle hudson publication was used to depict the motel's design. The bathroom had a fantastic walkin shower and a circular wash hand basin, which were very smart but quite impractical without overflow and a ceramic plug that wasn't inserted. The bathroom had a slipthrough sliding glass door! The bedroom was equipped with a minibar refrigerator, which was very useful if you were visiting town to buy some wine, but unat night because of the glass door and an internal light that you couldn't turn off. On the positive side, the room featured a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake and strong air conditioning with its own remote control. There is a place across the road where you can walk with your dog bags and bins. It's a bit of a drawback that the hotel may be close to Seecorso on the map, but it's an uphill stroll. Also, there isn't even a drinks machine in the breakfast room and a bedroom. The general conclusion is that it's essentially
