We have visited Mayrhofen in over 20 years but have yet to stay at the Scheulinghof. There are difficult to find central accommodations at a reasonable price during Christmas and New Year's. Christina was helpful and friendly when we checked in and took us to our room. Our clean double room was large, had plenty of wardrobe space, a spacious bathroom with closet space, and had a large balcony, allowing us to watch all the different Nye fireworks in the mountains. Breakfast staff were attentive and provided traditional spread bread, meats cheese, cereals, eggs, etc. The location is ideal, 5 minutes walk to the penkenbahn lift and 3 minutes walk to the Horn lift. A lovely traditional family run business, we will definitely come back!.

I would strongly suggest it! My partner and I made a reservation for this hotel on the day we arrived and weren't let down. Although we only stayed for one night, it was excellent and had everything we required. Although it isn't brand-new or new, it is a touch outdated, it was tidy and well-kept, exactly what you need in a room. The room was spacious and had a bathroom that was fully functional as well as a balcony overlooking the mountains. The receptionist was lovely! She was extremely helpful and filled with advice about hiking, which we were in town to do. There was a wonderful atmosphere of homey atmosphere there.

We would definitely recommend Scheulinghof because it was our first visit to Mayrhofen and from Canada, and I thought it would be difficult to find affordable lodging at first. While we were on the mountain, the staff stayed in a traditional Austrian guest house to participate in the White Lounge Igloo experience for the first night we were there. The breakfast was just what we required before hitting the slopes, and the setting was fantastic. The bed was very comfy, and the rooms were very tidy. The breakfast was perfectly prepared for us to hit the slopes. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and the rooms were extremely spotless. It was a beautiful view in the morning from our balcony that overlooked the adorn lift. The breakfast was so beautiful. Our snowboarding experience greatly improved when we spent our first night there in a traditional Austrian guest house.

Our ski vacation spent at Scheulinghof was so good, we recommend it to everyone. The location is excellent, right next to the horn cable car and 7 minute's walk from the weaken cable car. Although the mayor center is outside the busy and noisy center, it is just 510 minutes' walk from all of the shops and restaurants. The proprietor is a very kind woman with a grin on her face. Breakfast is excellent, the rooms are clean and spacious, there is a small sauna and playroom to unwind after the ski day. The only improvement I could give, and it would be to improve the wifi connection, which was inconsistent at times, and to maintain the parking lot during the snowy days so that cars can enter and exit easier because it was completely icy and a little difficult to drive.

The rooms here were very clean, and the balcony was lovely. And then, the personnel here was kind and polite while speaking English. Subsequently, the prices here were really affordable for a single traveler. After that, the breakfast served had a nice range of meat, cheese, cereals, bread, eggs, yogurt, and fruit. The last one is that the location is very strategic, far from the center, but still close to the main drag and the balcony.
