The best hotel in Dhaka! Lovely rooms, excellent rooftop pool and fabulous staff. The outdoor restaurant on the top floor is excellent. The best steak dinner I’ve ever had. A fantastic and perfect hotel.

This was the second time I stayed at the Raintree. The price is comparable to others in the area, with large rooms reasonably priced. There’s a lively coffee shop in the lobby and the hotel staff are wonderful. Twice they arranged for an airport transfer in the middle of the night. Also, one of the main reasons I chose to stay here a second time was the outstanding breakfast buffet that included many options for vegetarians. The room, bathroom, sheets and towels were all very clean and I really like having the hotel-provided slippers and a robe.

This hotel has a wide variety of food available from the restaurant. Even though it is just minutes from the center of Gulshan it was surprising quite and had a very intimate feel to it. It was easy to forget I was staying in the middle of a major city. I would recommend it to all.

The condition of the hotel is neat and has friendly and helpful staff. The location is very strategic, close to the main restaurants and shops in the gustan banana area. The breakfast buffet is also good, the menu changes daily. The only issue we had was that the lights went out in the middle of the night, which I'm sure would have been fixed if we had informed the front desk. But not right now, because it's about 2 pm. Overall, good.

I spoke to Raintree and Holiday Inn in Shihaka about the reservation. I received a response from Raintree in 5 minutes, but Holiday Inn didn't respond for 6 days and after writing a negative review. Very impressed with Raintree Staff's quick, curtious and friendly response. Answered every query within 1015 minutes. Looking forward to my stay in September.

On the way back from Myanmar, I stayed in the Raintree Hotel Sharka. I booked this hotel through WhatsApp. Booking was handled very professionally by this young lady, I think that's the name. The staff were very polite and looked very professional, they spoke good English. The rooms were very clean, welldesigned, the swimming pool on the rooftop was great, we even had the food from the restaurant as room service was good. The only problem we had for the 2 days we stayed was that the air conditioning didn't work very well. We had them come up and fix it five or six times. As you can tell, bangladesh is a very hot country between 32 and 35. Without air conditioning, you are in trouble. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, thank you to the young lady who spoke with me.

I stayed at the property for 4 days and was overall a good stay. The staff are well trained and they serve good food. Rooms are spacious and clean, the only drawback is the entry to the hotel. It's right on the road and they don't have any drive way or parking.

The bellboy is very friendly and helpful. He took the initiative to help me book Uber when i have problem with my booking. The only disappointment i have is the hotel didn't allow any late check out though i stayed there for 4 nights and my friends got late check-out at 1pm and 2pm! Wifi is not consistent and sometimes is quite slow.
