I would return to this hotel. We had a motorcycle trip down to Italy and stayed at this hotel for one night. Our room was spacious and immaculate, clearly recently decorated, and in excellent shape. When we were there and there was no air conditioning, we knew this when we booked so we couldn't really complain. Moreover, the stairs to the room were quite steep and there was no lift access. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast there so can't really comment on that. The hotel has a garage where you can store a motorcycle or cycle. The town itself is lovely, with plenty of restaurants and beer after a day of travel.

I spent a night in room number three, which is ideal for families of up to four people. Nice room with a shower. Near the city center is only a short walk away. Compared to the quantity of food, the price of the breakfast was really cheap, and the service was excellent. Would stay there again.

This was a very nice surprise at the end of a day. We wanted a place to sleep nearby. We looked for a last-minute accommodation online. The hotel la palette offered availability, and it was not overpriced like most others. We had no high expectations. We found the hotel in a nice position and the restaurant is similar to an antique shop kind of way. When we walked up to our rooms, we found one for a couple and one for two friends, each with separate beds, and was surprised when we opened the doors! The rooms were really lovely. In a contemporary design, everything is clean and extremely comfortable.

The room has been tastefully renovated. The room was spacious, had a good bathroom, and looked really lovely. There was some street noise from passing cars, so a room away from the main road would be best.

This lovely old hotel surprised us. A short walk into the town where there are many restaurants. Our room at the back was quiet with no view, but it was only for one night so didn't bother us. The room was lovely and well decorated. It had everything you would need for a stopover and plenty of parking. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Would recommend an overnight stay. The stairs are steep and would be difficult if you have mobility issues. Ask for a room on a lower floor. Rochefort is a beautiful town.
