I booked this hotel because it was one of the cheapest closest to the city center in nye 201718 and I was not disappointed. We had a simple checkin, the double room we had was clean and big enough for us to chill out, watch a bit of back 2, get ready to go out using the en suite shower and the bed was very comfortable! The reception was helpful with good advice on public transport and even printed out boarding passes for us! If you feel the need to eat before entering the city center, there is a boulangerie right next to the hotel and a corner shop, and the restaurant. It is on a main road about 15 minutes walk to Gare de Lowe, where you can take a bus or metro to anywhere in the city! If a budget traveler who prefers to go out rather than stay inside when they visit a new country but still has basic amenities, this is the hotel for you! We had a great time and stayed for 3 nights, Brussels is a beautiful city, and we shall be back someday, I hope!

This was a leap of faith and paid for it. The room was clean and well equipped and easily connected to Brussels' excellent public transportation and nearby restaurants.

Overall, I would recommend it if you are not looking for luxury and don't mind getting on the bus. It was not worth the price at all, and after reading the reviews here and on Google, I was expecting the worst. I was actually gladly shocked by what we discovered. Expecting the worst, I was pleasantly surprised. The shower and the room were both ok and clean. It is warm and the bed is cozy. Yes, the building isn't young, but I've seen the worst. There is no breakfast or restaurant at the hotel, but there are numerous shops, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. Coffee grinders in the hall. The hotel is far from all tourist attractions, but bus stops are less than a minute away. A taxi from the city center is 12 euros at night. The area has a bad reputation, but from what I saw it is not deserved as I never felt unsafe. There are also some rather good restaurants in this area. The guys at the reception are quite nice and courteous. The hotel has recently changed directions, so hopefully the bad reviews will go away.

J'y suis resté 3 jours dans l hôtel et il n y a pas eu de passage pour le nettoyage de chambre n y pour changer les essuies de bain. Il y a les client de la chambre qui font du bruit la nuit crie dans le couloir

Fernseher und Steckdosen waren leider defekt. Das Zimmer war sehr klein aber sauber. Personal freundlich allerdings sehr langsam. Fazit: für eine Nacht ist es okay- länger würden wir nicht bleiben wollen!

Séjour très décevant pour un tarif de 220 € la nuit. Le pommeau de douche était cassé, les serviettes et la couverture n’étaient pas propres, et l’état générale laissait à désirer. De plus, les places de parking sont très limitée et non incluse dans le prix, ce qui est inadmissible à ce tarif. Le rapport qualité/prix n’est clairement pas au rendez-vous.

The location was disappointing. We expected to park at the hotel, especially since it was advertised that parking was available for £10 overnight, but no spaces were available upon arrival. Additionally, the hotel is situated right next to a busy main road, and the windows have no insulation—our room was extremely noisy throughout the night and also so hot because it was the top floor. There was only one towel provided in the room, and there was no fridge, which added to the inconvenience.
