Lovely hotel a short drive from Bruges. We liked the decor and the ambiance of the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our family suite was clean and spacious. We enjoyed a meal at the hotel’s restaurant and drinks there the following evening. Our only suggestion would be to introduce more menu items for picky children, however that won’t be an issue for many.

We had a really great stay at Van der Valk Hotel Brugge-Oostkamp. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very pleasant overall. Our room was very spacious and had a separate sleeping area with two additional beds, which was perfect for a family. It gave us plenty of space and made the stay very comfortable. Bruges is not too far away, so the location is very convenient. The only small thing I missed was that some basic bathroom amenities, such as cotton pads, cotton buds or a shower cap, were not already available in the room. I am sure we could have asked for them, but in a 4-star hotel I would normally expect them to be provided. It was also a little noisy because the motorway is nearby, but overall this did not affect our stay too much. We did not have breakfast because it was quite expensive. €26 per person felt too much, especially as our 12-year-old son is charged as an adult but does not eat very much. For three people, €78 for breakfast is quite a lot. Apart from that, everything was excellent and we had a very good experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and very well looked after. We had a family room with a separate bedroom for the kids. The room was outstanding, the bathroom had a huge bath as well as a walk in shower with high quality toiletries. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast buffet was amazing and the restaurant was also very good. All in all a fantastic hotel. Very conveniently located only a 10 minute drive from the center of Brugge.

Les points positifs : *Emplacement de l’hôtel si on a une voiture ( accès direct autoroute / parking gratuit / 20 min de Bruges) *Personnel très agréable et efficace avec une mention spéciale pour le bar de l’hôtel qui est très agréable et composé d’une équipe très serviable et réactive *Les chambres sont grandes, agréables et joliment décorées tout comme leurs salles de bains *Espace bien être de qualité Les points négatifs *Nous avions réservé pour trois, et à l’arrivée on nous demande un supplément pour le lit de notre enfant *Dans la suite, nous devions demander une troisième serviette pour notre fils tous les jours * L’hôtel est situé à côté de l’autoroute et même s’il est très bien insonorisé, pour les personnes étant sensible au bruit, ça peut être gênant. Pour ma part je dors avec des boules Quies donc je n’ai pas été gêné. Avec tout ces points je recommande cet hôtel de qualité dans lequel nous avons passé un agréable séjour
