Staying here was an incredible treat after completing an 8-day trek to Mardi Himal. My friend had researched hotels extensively, and since we only had two nights, we wanted to make the most of it. After a five-hour delay in Kathmandu we arrived exhausted, but the hotel immediately took care of us by accommodating a massage appointment. As a Platinum member I was also surprised with an upgrade to a villa. I love how the hotel feels built into the landscape. The wood architecture and large windows bring in beautiful natural light, and the grounds feature rolling hills with pine and cypress trees that make it feel like a mountain ski chalet. We chose this property for its proximity to both the airport and Tiger’s Nest. Breakfast was wonderful with homemade jams, jellies, marmalades, pastries, and fresh vegetable juices. The entire property is centered around wellness, and we even attended a talk about Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness philosophy, which was inspiring. The service was exceptional. My villa had a fireplace, butler service, a massage bed, and even a dedicated wellness room. The bathroom was huge and stocked with the same products used in the spa. I especially loved soaking in lavender and eucalyptus bath salts after the trek. When I called ahead on our way to the hotel, my butler had the fireplace lit and champagne on ice. Whenever I am able to stay at Como Uma I do. Its the perfect first night stay into the Kingdom and the perfect place to stay the eve before departure. The spa is eceptional and I am always blessed they allow me to swim in the pool when I am able. The staff are always kind and caring and the food is excellent.

I've been recommending this place. I just want to provide some feedback since I requested a form from the hotel, and they have given TA to all my inquiries. The hotels positive features are lovely, it's housed in an old mansion that has been restored and has large gardens, so you'll be surrounded by trees and greenery. The service in the improvement areas is uneven, a few have good English and I can recall your preferences in my photo, while some have difficulties with requests. Additionally, I noticed that there were frequent toilet paper runs out in the restaurant's main restroom several times. The road to the hotel is extremely slick and with deteriorating roads, but you are rewarded by the amazing view. My thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.

Hotel yang bagus, sangat rapi, pelayanan juga sangat baik. Orangorangnya sangat ramah. Bentuknya disesuaikan dengan budaya adat hutan. Menyediakan berbagai sarana seperti panahan dengan peralatan yang bisa disewa. Lumayan untuk mengisi waktu karena terlalu banyak kegiatan yang bisa dilakukan di Paro.

James and his entire team have executed a perfectly planned operation that has kept guests happy all the time. The staff are all very attentive and courteously anticipating our steps. The property is classy, in a quiet setting with beautiful valley views. The food is simply delicious and made with local and seasonal ingredients. A truly wonderful experience and an excellent choice if you visit Paro.

I'm posting feedback here because I had requested a feedback form from the hotel, and they responded to all comments via T-shirt. The hotel's beautiful features, housed in an old mansion that has been converted with huge grounds, ensure that your visit is surrounded by trees and greenery. The service in the improvement areas is inadequate, some of them speak excellent English and are able to recall my specific preferences in my photo, whereas other staff struggle with requests. Toilet paper ran out several times, as I also noted. The road to the hotel is extremely rough and has some poor roads, but you are pleased by the stunning view. Much love.

The entire family runs a perfectly planned operation that creates happiness throughout. Staff, Tshering, Yiank, Leela, Maya. We are all incredibly attentive and graciously waiting for our steps. The property is classy, in a peaceful environment and beautiful views of the valley. Food is simply delicious and creatively prepared with local and seasonal ingredients. Truly a wonderful experience and a great choice when you visit Paro.
