The whole place is immaculate, clean, beautiful and serene. I loved the smell of the rooms, very homey and relaxing. The garden is gorgeous and the breakfast was perfect. The hosts were so kind and considerate, I will never forget this visit.

La atención cordial , y amable de la dueña del lugar . Nos permitió utilizar la habitación desde muy temprano , ya que veníamos desde el.terminal. Una habitación confortable y una cama excepcional donde descansamos plácidamente.tambien nos mostró los mejores lugares para conocer en nuestra corta estancia en Sucre. Así mismo nos permitió guardar nuestro equipaje sin ningún costo adicional posterior a nuestro check out Así como nos facilito el cambio de dólares a bolivianos. Y el desayuno muy rico y completo.muy contentas con nuestra estancia en Sucre

Nossa estadia em Sucre foi incrível, e grande parte disso se deve à hospitalidade impecável da Carmen. Desde o início, ela nos recebeu com gentileza e carinho, nos apresentou a cidade com ótimas dicas locais e ainda foi fundamental para viabilizar a continuidade da nossa viagem até o Salar de Uyuni. Um destaque especial vai para o bolo de laranja perfeito que ela preparou — simplesmente inesquecível! Ficamos com tanta vontade de repetir a experiência que até pedimos a receita! Sem dúvida, recomendamos este hotel a todos que desejam não só se hospedar, mas também se sentir acolhidos como em casa. Carmen, muito obrigado por tudo!

Accueil exceptionnel et en français avec plein de bons conseils de visites et de restaurants. Le cadre : jardins, patios est magnifique. La chambre est très jolie et très calme, la litterie est parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Ce fut un plaisir de séjourner ici.

We enjoyed a lot staying in a tranquil super clean, and unique B&B in the heart of the Historic Sucre city. Carmen ( our host) was very helpful to plan our visit and recommended us not only the main landmarks also the best restaurants. Amazing gardens and beautiful top roof to enjoy at night the view of the city. It was a blast

This was the perfect place to stay while traveling through Bolivia with a stopover in Sucre! The gardens were so relaxing, the breakfast was delicious, and the room super comfortable. I would stay here again!

Excellent! The property is well maintained, the gardens are beautiful and they made a great job maintaining the colonial essence of the city on their decor, the breakfast was plenty and delicious, staff was friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this place.

It is a nice place where to stay with a lovely patio and outside area. However there are problems with the room. Unfortunately there is no air con and at night it gets very hot which makes it difficult to sleep. There are also a lot of mosquitos which, especially in light of a yellow fever pandemic in Bolivia, is not good. Finally there was loud music coming from the street for most of the night which added to all of the above made it difficult to rest. Shame as the property itself looks very nice.

El hotel es bonito y la dueña muy amable. La habitación estaba ubicada en un segundo piso, cómoda y de buen tamaño con su buen baño. El problema es que la habitación tiende a calentarse y cómo no tiene malla milimétrica de protección en las ventanas, no es posible abrirlas para dormir. Es muy calurosa. Las almohadas tampoco fueron de nuestro agrado, hace falta mejorarlas, recordando que uno usa las qué tienen funda no las qué son de adorno. Respecto al desayuno, el primer día estuvo muy bueno gracias a la amabilidad de la dueña que nos esperó un poco más allá de las diez, hora que se cierra este servicio; sin embargo, el segundo día, resultó desagradable. Fuimos en el horario convenido (8am a 10 am) y encontramos ambas mesas un desastre, no café, no huevos, no jugo de naranja, cosas propias de un desayuno y hormigas en la mesa sin nadie que ayude. La verdad es que no volvería a este hotel. La subida para llegar a su puerta es muy empinada y, si bien es bonito y agradable, su terraza linda, la dueña muy amable, creemos que es para personas más jóvenes. Muchas gracias.

Before arriving, we were told that due to some system error, some of our group’s bookings were moved from El Jardin de Su Merced to Hotel de Su Merced. That was fine by me. Having stayed at this lovely hotel numerous times over the last 20 years, choosing it for our traveling groups, I have always enjoyed my stay in various rooms very much. Unfortunately, my loyalty over decades was this time “rewarded” with placement in room 23. This turned out to be a small, dark and stale room with no light, air or view. Lying at the dark end of a hall, the only light came in through a small window high up on a wall. It felt more like a prison cell, albeit with a comfortable bed, than a hotel room. When asking for a change, I was told no other room was available. I don’t doubt that was true, but as this was before noon and some clients had already checked out, this clearly shows prioritizing new incoming clients over existing ones. To sum it up, I have enjoyed many stays at this hotel. But I was very disappointed both with room 23 and how my complaint was handled. This room is so far below the usual standard that if offered at all, it should be to informed clients and at half the price of other rooms — certainly not charged at the same exact rate. However, my complaint was not met with any such suggestion. The rest of our group were satisfied with their rooms, as I have been in the past.
