We stayed at four different places over our three week trip through Botswana and Zabbian and each one was exceptional because of it's own style. The river, the place sanctuary chose Childers, which means view, was the first place we would categorize as a lodge rather than a camp and had more of a hotellike feel to it with large lobbybar area, open indooroutdoor dining area, large gift shop, full gym and spa and large common pool. It was beautiful and a short drive from livingstone airport! Guests lack for nothing, and the service, as in all sanctuary facilities, is exceptional! Busy, one of the managers, welcomed us warmly and gave us the rules they are the same from place to place. After lunch with a large walkin shower, double vanity, and large soaking tub. Our guide, innocence, took us out to the river that afternoon. What a wonderful overview of the region, with elephants, hippos, and crocodiles the main attractions. We had wonderful dinners every day, whether on foot or by the river. As others have said, the lunches were plentiful and innocent went above and beyond to make sure we were perfectly positioned for the most amazing photos. The food at ca was fantastic! In all my years of traveling, this is unquestionably one of the greatest places I've ever been. The staff is really kind. The private cabins are immaculate with very comfortable beds and heating pads in them for those chilly nights and the bathroom comes complete with a large shower and a big tub for a nice relaxing bath. The food is amazing! I wasn't expecting such high-end dining while on safari, but they really nailed it. There are always one vegetarian option that features a variety of fantastic regional cuisine but also some less adventurous. We had dinner acoustic one evening. Bobby was excellent! Every morning we went on game drives in a chosen national park and saw many amazing things, two leopards, lions, kudu, giraffes, cape buffalo, a lot of elephants, impala, rumba, and more bird species that I could possibly recall. We accompanied the Kamboni river op in the evenings to see game! This was such a unique way to view wildlife! We were so fortunate to see sable antelopes! There were elephants swimming in the water next to our boat. Plenty of hippos, kudu, birds, impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and elephants right along the shoreline. You can enjoy amazing sunsets

Our room was spacious with an expansive balcony like other sanctuary camps we've been to. We even had a private recliner underneath the bed. Excellent artwork was found in the space. But being so close to the right national park was one of the greatest benefits. We came across wildlife on the simple drive to the park's entrance. Our cabin was the best! Despite each game drive being exciting, our favorite activity was the sundowner cruise on the chosen river. It was truly awe-inspiring to see a herd of 40 or 50 elephants march along the river bank as the sun set. The camp's common areas added something special. The artwork, inviting lounges, and receding area were all fantastic. The first night after dinner, a group of native dancers came to entertain us with traditional costumes, music, and dance. Everything was delicious. Every morning's made-to-order eggsomelets breakfast was one of the best things. Everyone on the selection children was truly outstanding!.

Lovely accommodations in a comfortable bungalow with top-notch spa, dining, and lodge services. Boat rides and open jeep game drives were alternated during game drives. Thanks to the expertise and knowledge of innocent, our wonderful guide, we were able to observe two lion prides and also witnessed an incredible variety of elephant and buffalo behaviors. One evening's dance performance was outstanding.

The camp is close to a national reserve. The staff is really great. The food was great, the room was small, but not a tent, and everyone helped us. Highly recommended.
