A pousada fica bem localizada, de frente pra praia e a pouco tempo andando do centro. O ponto negativo foi o café da manhã, muito básico com as mesmas coisas todos os dias. O café da manhã é servido das 8h às 10h, cheguei às 8h10 um dia e não tinha nada pronto ainda. Cheguei outro dia às 8h40 e estava faltando café.

A estadia foi maravilhosa. Cheguei na cidade mais cedo e perguntei se poderia fazer o check in um pouco mais cedo e como o quarto estava disponível deixaram. Deram dicas de passeios, o pessoal da recepção é super educado e prestativo. O quarto é maravilhoso, a vista é otima e super perto da praia. Da pra fazer tudo a pé pela cidade. Recomendo e voltaria mil vezes.

I would recommend this hostel to any angel only. Our time at the gek hostel was enhanced by Patricia. The lodging itself was not the best we have stayed in, but by far not the worst either. It was simple yet functional. Sadly, there was a power outage when we arrived, preventing us from using the internet and booking our bus to Sao Paulo the following day. Patricia assisted us in organizing our plans the next morning at 6 a.m., ringing all the bus companies and transfers for us. It was unsuccessful, so she spoke with two other travelers she knew from Sao Paulo and arranged a lift back to there with them. I cannot express my gratitude enough for this because we are going to Iguana Falls tomorrow morning and without her we would have missed three days of our trip. She informed us that it would all be sorted because good things happen to good people, if this is true, I know for sure that something very good is coming her way!

A estadia não poderia ter sido melhor! A localização do hostel é excelente, bem pertinho do centro histórico, café da manhã maravilhoso (várias opções de frutas) servido na praia. Limpeza dos quartos e banheiro realizada todos os dias, acomodações confortáveis. Recomendo de olhos fechados. Parabéns a toda a equipe, principalmente a Priscila, que faz tudo para nos sentirmos em casa, e atende a todas as nossas expectativas. Muito obrigada por tudo Geko Hostel!

Ola- foi dois dias no Greko Hostel e Pousada em Parati. Foi maravilhoso. Especialmente quero agradecer o Sr. Nico- na recepcao! Ele e muito gentil, me deu dicas onde eu posso ver lugares lindos. Mais uma vez muito obrigado. Com certeza vou voltar!!!

Cet hôtel est bien situé et à proximité de la plage. Très propre et les agents d'accueil sont plutôt cool. Le petit déjeuner servi sur la plage est très sympa.

Oh, how we miss Geko Hostel, and especially our new friend Beatriz Veloso and the other friendly staff. We can´t imagine a better place to stay while in Paraty. The location is perfect, at the beach but still walking distance to the historic centre. Breakfast is included! We are a family with two boys, 7 and 9 years old, and they were treated so friendly by Bea and the other people at this hostel (both staff and other guests) We have traveled around the world with our boys, and Geko Hostel is definitely one of their favourite places of all the places we´ve stayed at. The room was big enough for our family, and especially the private bathroom was very clean and nice, with hot water in the shower. We really hope we can return one day. Thank you Bea and rest of Geko-staff - and beautiful Paraty town - for the memories!

chegamos bem antes da hora e mesmo assim houve atenção por parte da recepção em nos abrigar mas como estava lotado só havia uma triliche disponível e mh amiga por ser deficiente não conseguiria subir até a ultima cama então dormimos no carro mesmo até algum hospede sair. Mas a atenção foi notória.

The hostel is located right on the beach. The breakfast buffet is delicious and comes with hammocks on the beach. The hostel also has two hammocks. The people working here are very kind and helpful. They also arranged for me to go horseback riding. The weather wasn't fantastic when I was there, but I would love to visit the party again if it's warmer.
