We also didn't want an apartment because we like the included breakfast and daily room cleaning service. We also didn't plan to spend much time in the room, so we only needed beds and a toilet. I booked this 2 star hotel with some trepidation as I thought it might be like some of the dodgy backpacker places I used to stay in when I was single and prechildren. However, it was perfect for our needs. It's a lovely, clean small hotel. Our room had a window that looked out over the plaza and a double bed and two singles with ease. It had a fridge bar, to, air conditioning etc. Modern bathroom and the shower is great. The location is good also a walk to the beach and there are several juice bars and restaurants nearby.

We were expecting a very pleasant and neat hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a tight budget but do not fancy a hostel. It is in a good location and it has a clean and simple feel.

If you are looking for a well-appointed, simple, and safe hotel in Copacabana, this would be a great place to consider. The owner and staff are lovely and extremely helpful. We had a room with one queen bed and two twin beds, lots of space, and a mini fridge. Every morning a variety of breakfast items were offered, and they even called to see if we would come down for breakfast before closing. The hotel is about two blocks from the beach and three blocks from the subway station. There are a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops nearby.

This is a very suitable place for our needs. During the new year holiday, we stayed here because it was the cheapest hotel we could find close to Cococabana Beach. The bathroom was lovely, and the room was very simple but was cleaned daily. Sadly, the aircon wasnt very good, but we did a good job. But the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast in our room was included in it, but I would suggest it as it was the same every day and was not very good. The fruit was frequently covered in flies, and the room where breakfast was served had a distinctive foul odor. Because Brazilian food is inexpensive, this wasnt a major concern. The room, however, was cheap and located close to the beach. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. The next time Ill pay more for a more luxurious hotel.
