I've been there for one week for the new year 2017. It's a nice place, safe because a police car is always on the street. The copacabana beach and nearby small markets are both five minutes away. The staff is friendly and helpful. About the room, it's cozy, comfortable, clean but a little noisy. Price is fair. I had a very pleasant stay there. Thank you to the entire staff!.

To get to know Rio de Janeiro is a very pleasant location. The personnel is really kind and accommodating. The amenities are outstanding, including a bed, breakfast, internet, air conditioning, a kitchen, free airport transportation, a balcony to dry your clothes, Lame and Copacabana beach right outside the door, and even a mineral water shower outside if you want, which comes out of a mountain water collecting pipe outside the hostel. Additionally, youll find all the groceries and buses nearby to take you anywhere in Rio. To safeguard your essential items, make sure to have a padlock with you. Buy a rio card from the town metro station as every third bus ride you take offers free, and multiple people can use one rio card, as I was so pleased to discover when even the bus driver didnt know. Its wonderful to stay with other backpackers from other parts of the world while utilizing all your language skills. Having spent one night learning Portuguese and the next day trying to obtain mosquito repellent in Portuguese, the pharmacist will be very impressed with your Portuguese. The best 50 met is available in Brazil or even at Heathrow airport boots pharmacy, which is insensate because mosquitoes carry ziva and dengue virus in South America. It could be difficult for some people to sleep, particularly with the mosquitos buzzing

Para quem não liga para conforto e pretende economizar com estadia, é um bom lugar. Próximo à praia e restaurantes, apesar de ficar localizado em uma comunidade. O que mais incomodou foi a limpeza, pois, logo ao chegar, verificamos que a geladeira que era compartilhada cheirava podre. O café da manhã é bastante simples. Ponto positivo para os funcionários, que no geral, são esforçados e simpáticos.

The hostel was okay. Locations was good. It did not feel very clean. It was dirty. Thankfully had an air condition but it’s only setting was freezing. Which I guess is good if your in humid Brazil. Sheets they provided were pretty gross. It was a fitted sheet and thin sheet. No blanket. But the people were very nice.

Gleich Vorweg: Wer eine günstige Unterkunft nahe der Copacabana sucht, in der er nur schlafen möchte ist dieses Hostel ok. Jedoch sollte man hierfür was Hygiene und Sauberkeit betrifft keine großen Ansprüche stellen. Vom Kochen würde ich möglichst abraten, da die Küche einfach nur ekelig und unsauber ist. Zudem gibt es auch einige Kakerlaken. Positiv zu bewerten ist die Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Die Bettwäsche hatte leider ein paar flecken. Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft ihren Preis nicht wert gewesen.
