The hotel is in San Antonio. The hostel is really close to the bar. The price is very worth it. I just book this hostel. And then the service was very good, plus the atmosphere was very cozy.

The location is just outside the main tourist areas of Rio de Janeiro. We found a space full of hype, atmosphere, and mood! The food is delicious, the staff are always smiling and friendly. The staff on FI were always helpful! I will definitely come back to this place.

Ive stayed at the Mama Shelter twice since this was my second trip to Rio de Janeiro, and I am so glad I decided to stay in Santa Teresa. The hotel is what I would describe as a boutique, has character, art, is smaller in size, has incredible staff, and is in an ideal location. We couldnt take an uber whenever we needed to leave the region, but I would encourage you to walk because there is so much to see and do in Santa Teresa, making it convenient to return to your room when necessary. Its simple to access the wellliked escadaria season, which is best seen in the early hours because it is not overrun by all the visitors. Breakfast was adequate. It had bread, eggs, meat, coffee, juice, and fruit, which was enough to start the day, but not something you would go out of. The interior was lively, with the bones of a structure to remind you of the stunning history that is ongoing in the neighborhood.

We had never been to Rio de Janeiro before visiting and ended up buying this hotel by chance. We are incredibly appreciative that we did! They are incredibly helpful in making tour reservations and educating about Rio's sights. It is situated in Santo Theresa, a very artsy and charming neighborhood to stay, and you can easily do all the activities with an uber or taxi. It is also a secure location where you can stroll around and take in the graffiti-covered streets. The brunch is excellent. We stayed for nearly three weeks because it was the best breakfast we had in Brazil. The entire staff is extremely helpful and attends to all your needs. Thank you tactile, you were amazing.
