We highly recommend this place. On a charming illa grande, we adored this tiny pousada. This tiny piece of heaven is just a few hundred meters away from the ferry terminal and just behind the football field, on a dirt road. For only 70 reais, we had a lovely room with a private bathroom and breakfast buffet! The room was tiny, but clean and comfortable, with a fridge and wardrobe. There is a communal terrace next to the rooms, making it a fantastic place to read in the evening. Very friendly employees, but they sadly only spoke Portuguese. The brunch buffet is fantastic. There is a wide selection of bread, cakes, and fruits. However, the marmalade was always the same. The closest thing to a reasonably priced paradise island is Illa grande!.
