Candonga da Sierra is a relaxing location to spend a few days. The breakfast here is delicious. A very enjoyable romantic afternoon can be had there. I have noticed that the location is not as well kept as it was the previous time I was there, but I still plan to stay there the next time I'm in the area.

In my opinion, the hotel is a poorly run business, where you don't care if your guests stay there or talk good about your property to other potential customers. We don't find this hotel to be worth it at all. The main house is good once you enter, but the room is very noisy. Due to the terrible acoustic of the main building, at least the ground floor where I stayed, you all have the impression that the front desk and early arrival visitors are indeed in your very room. The rooms are fairly simple, which is fine, and the queen beds are actually made up of two singles, which can be quite uncomfortable. Bathrooms are acceptable only if you are a contortionist, at least in the room where I stayed I was unable to fit on my legs when I sat down to squatting, which was quite unfun. Also, you must choose the least of two evils, either opening the door and entering, then opening the shower and getting a very cold first water jet, or you open the water, wait for it to warm up, then opening the glass door, soaking the entire bathroom while you attempt to enter. The hotel's management, however, has really frustrated us. It was no longer in the reception when we arrived from dinner and I asked him if he could do so. The manager wasn
