Ive just gone for 5 days at the Pousada porque, illa bela. The Pousada is lovely and has rooms on 3 levels that go all the way up the hillside. We moved rooms halfway through our trip and both were perfectly clean, wellappointed, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has plenty of fruit, bread, cheese, and lots of cakes. The perfect start to a day hiking on the island. The location is close to balsa and the city center by walking in around 15 minutes.

I was there with my son and two years before with husband and son, and they always were very nice and provided everything we needed, particularly when it was related to children's needs. Clean and tidy rooms, excellent breakfast, ideal location, quiet and peaceful! What more could we ask for a perfect vacation? I was there with my son and two years earlier with my husband and son.

Since Ilhabela can be expensive, we were pleasantly surprised by this pousada. The pousada pool, breakfast room, and other amenities are all very standard. Yet, everything has been done, and our rooms have just been renovated. The gym, though, is in poor condition. Porque beach is close to the island town where the ferry goes from Sao Sebastian, making this pousada ideal for those without a car. If youre not carrying too much baggage, it is a short stroll. The only drawback is that they only accept cash at checkout because their machine wasnt working.

Pousada Porque appears to be a simple and lovely neighborhood. There are a number of options within a short stroll, and the location is in Porque Beach in a good way. One of the two rooms we stayed in was older and in need of renovation. The other was better. There were few and poorly situated power outlets in the two rooms. Unfortunately, the inn's neighboring property has a decadent and abandoned structure that is very visible from the common area.
