When I started looking at this pousada, the website had itineraries for the packages offered, including a jaguar safari. The packages were gone when I made my reservation. We were told we could choose one activity each day upon arrival, but the jaguar safari wasnt. For a half-day, it was charged separately at nearly 400 per person. We went because it was our primary reason for traveling. We did see jaguars, but there are no guarantees and we met people who don't. The rooms were tired and in need of a lick of paint. The air conditioning was effective, and there was a fridge. The bed was comfortable, but there was only one very thin pillow per person. The towels were very thin. The hotel has wifi but it was temperamental and didn't work in our room, which we didn't mind but if it is important to you, request a room close to reception. There is no air conditioning in the public areas, and during dinner time, the restaurant is uncomfortable and warm, but we were there at the hottest time of year. On our final night, there were storms and we were wet going to dinner because there is an open area between the rooms and the restaurant. The food was nice and plentiful, but the restaurant had no atmosphere. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included, but there are no drinks, not even

We can see a large otter, howler monkeys, and wildlife from the warmly accommodating boatman. The room was very comfortable.

The room is large and spotless. The internet is great! The bathroom is large, too! Unlike other pousadas I've stayed, there is a desk and chair, allowing me to get things done in the room rather than in the common dining room. It is air-conditioned and has a huge overhead fan. The cuisine is excellent and plentiful. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. However, as in most places, no English is spoken. The wildlife here is a little less abundant than in other parts, but it is still pretty good birding.

Considering that the price was included in our tour, I cannot say it was an inexpensive deal. A good deal will be made if you visit this location. The accommodation is straightforward. The rooms in this lodge were the nicest we stayed in, but they were still basic. There is a fridge and air conditioning, and it was efficient. There isn't a safe, though, which I believe is a little inconvenient for storing valuables. The rooms were spotless. The location of the lodge makes it possible to explore, go on a kayak safari, and go on boats. So you can see the hawks diving, they throw fish from the boats, but they don't really say where they throw the fish, so it would be better if they did for photographers so they knew where to focus. We only received excellent assistance from our guides because the staff is stubborn, and we only had good help with our guides. Since no one appeared to be speaking English, it would be a good idea to learn some Portuguese phrases to get by. The traditional home-cooked cuisine of Santana is excellent.

This stunning lodge is second to none and is not only affordable, it is also clean and comfortable. The food is also plentiful. And the things that are included in the price are also impressive. But I must say that the first time I stayed here during the offseason I had good understanding.
