I'm glad we made the decision to stay here for the first two nights of our vacation. This hotel is excellently run by a family, nothing was too much trouble for them. From most angles, great views, and central Sofia is only 15 minutes and 15 lev cab ride away. Best traditional food I've tried during four Bulgarian holidays. Great value and made to feel so welcome, will definitely book here for my next trip to Sofia.

If you're seeking a warm, welcoming hotel far from the noise and crowds, this is the place to stay. From the moment we arrived, ivan himself welcomed us at the door. Our room was large, bright, and clean, with a balcony with a gorgeous view of Sofia in the distance. Our bed was so comfy, we slept very well. Breakfast was a typical bulgarian breakfast after all we were in bulgarian, fresh and delicious. Ivan couldn't have been more helpful, he made sure we had all the information we needed to have the holiday we desired in Sofia. A lovely kind man who went out of his way for us. The hotel is out of town, slightly up the mountain, in a peaceful location but there are restaurants and small shops nearby, and a taxi ride is so cheap, about 5. 00 to get into the city center, so ivan happily called a taxi whenever we needed one. We did not eat out, but instead, we ate in the hotel restaurant because the food was local, delicious, and excellent value. We also appreciated ivan and his lovely wife. Just a short walk away, there is a lovely hike up into the mountain, along a stream through a forest not for people with mobility problems. We felt so welcome and at home and hope that one day we will return. By the
