Amazing stay! We have come here before and will stay here again in the future. There is nothing you could want. The room is large and cozy. Spa and pool are additional benefits, and the restaurant is great for lunch. We chose to stay here because we didn't have kids with us and wanted to dine out, which worked nicely. had a good time at the casino. The best hotel in the area.

I recently completed a week's skiing vacation at the Ria Hotel Borovets. The hotel is immaculately tidy, with its own pool area, gym, and children's areas perfectly placed for the slopes. The on-site store is ideal for all your skisnowboarding needs, and we also leased skis and other equipment. One small issue was a concern, but the guest relations crew quickly addressed it appropriately and effectively. Room was on the 802 Corner Signature Room, which was perfect clean, cozy, and perfect for a ski vacation, as it was located back at the property but with a corner balcony allowing us to view the slopes while being far enough away from any noise from the main street. We stayed on a one-night basis that suits us since there are many bars and restaurants to eat, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I reserved a room for myself and my family for four days. As I stated in the title, the hotel has a great location for everything nearby, but that's all. Because it was January, you would at least expect the room to be warm, but no. There was just one air conditioner in one of the rooms that was not that effective because of the red light that stayed on at the filters panel, none of the radiators worked, and when we asked to switch rooms, they said they didn't have another room that could fit four people, which is difficult to believe considering it's a large hotel. We kept the air conditioner on all the time because otherwise, we would have frozen what with the weather in sofia in March. The cleaning lady walked through our floor every day and not once did she clean the room. We had a few delivery packages in the trash because everything was closed and the only way to eat was via the Internet. After two days, I had to go back to the front desk to ask for clean towels. One of the employees brought them but didn't pick up the trash, so we did it ourselves because we were tired of the entire damn situation. The wifi connection was terrible, none of our phones had a strong connection, I had an online call that kept disconnecting and I could not go anywhere else because everything was closed due to covid 19. This location is excellent, and the location was fantastic. The employees were really kind, and the setting is ideal, with a great view from the balcony. However, there were many more problems. I could hear the guests who were staying in the next-door room through the bathroom vents. The walls were more powerful than I could hear my own voice, but I thought closing the bathroom door would fix the issue. I don't mind the outdated furnishings, but the freezer appeared frightening and filthy. This location should be used if you're a less-maintenance person. Personally, primarily due to the convenient location, I didn't mind it much, but some of the issues I've mentioned are unquestionably fixable.
