Situated in a part of town that provides a bunch of good experiences. Stroll 2 blocks and sit in a cafe, or bar, and watch the Mekong River meander past. Closer you have a myriad of open air food stalls covering seafood, chicken, various types of meat, at ridiculously cheap prices. Bars are varied and plentiful. The bar/ cafe at Angkor Mithrai Is a delight in all respects.

We stayed in Angkor Mithona Guesthouse for 3 nights and it was okay. There's really nothing special with the guesthouse, room was okay, not too clean but nothing really bothered us. Aircon was good, neighbourhood was actually quite nice and the guesthouse was close to the main attractions. If you are looking for a place to sleep in the city center for couple of nights it should be definitely okay!

Room amenities are very basic (cable tv, wifi, hot water bath and free mineral water) but room size is small. Steep stair case without lift. Not much complaint since room rate is cheap and reception staff is friendly.

The staff is fantastic, knowledgeable and super friendly. We were also given discounts on the in-house massage services as customers of the hotel. It is a budget hotel, so the room was fairly small, but the bathroom was surprisingly spacious (despite the low ceiling) and had cute black and white tiles. There were plenty of hooks in the room and bathroom to hang our "hand washed" clothes. The A/C unit was strong and well-functioning. A TV came with the room, but we did not watch much of it as we had a lot on our agenda to spend 2 nights in Phnom Penh. We tried out the massage, but I was not so pleased with mine. My friend got the soft massage and really enjoyed it. I wanted the Thai Style (stronger) massage, but I definitely got a girl who had no idea what she was doing and didn't engage in the services professionally. She just squished my thighs and calves for about 30 minutes that did some twisting and scratching my scalp - very bizarre and utterly disappointing. Thankfully, it was so cheap ($7 for 60 minutes). The front desk staff spoke English very well, so they were helpful in guiding us on how to plan our day. We wanted to go to the Killing Fields, Tuol Sleng, and Independence Monument. We ended up walking most of it, then found a tuk tuk driver later on to take us to the bus station with our backpacks.

Déception sur la réservation des chambres premier prix : pas de fenêtre, pas de lavabo dans salle de bain étriquée... Nous avons décidé d'étendre notre séjour les jours suivants dans ce même hôtel mais en choisissant cette fois une chambre avec fenêtre. C'est globalement abordable et de bonne qualité pour un guest house. Il est donc recommandé de ne prendre une chambre premier prix que pour une nuit de passage avec budget ultra-serré. Le Guest House est dans l'angle de rues assez vivantes, beaucoup de sites accessibles à pied (palais royale, rive, marché...), bars et vie nocturne à proximité. Le personnel est très accueillant et prêt à aider. Restaurant en terrasse prix abordables. Internet fonctionnait mal quelques jours puis à refonctionné convenablement.
